Good video! Some additional tips: 1) Never drag around bases. Remove them so the drag is able to level the ground under the base. 2) Never pull a drag from the dirt into the grass. This will rapidly create a berm at your grass boundary. 3) Before edging grass, take the time to measure and establish the correct location of the edge, marking guide lines with paint. Infield dimensions are published in the rule book. You cannot just go by where you think the edge should be. 4) Keep the surface of your infield true with a section of straight steel pipe 12' - 16' in length (longer length can be used on skinned infields). Feed a suitable piece of chain through the pipe and periodically pull it behind your dragging machine. The pipe's long length will pull dirt from high areas and deposit in low areas. It is good to do this when the ground is damp immediately after using a nail drag.
