    I respect the hell out of this video. At my highschool they wouldn't allow any parents coaches or players to work on the field because it "took jobs away from the city workers" although they never worked on the field anyway. I love the hard work man keep it up.

    Baseball always gets the short end, look how immaculate that football field is.

    Good job man. 👌 I see all you guys wearing jackets. Wish I had that problem down here in Florida maintaining my fields. It's hectic work in the summer. 🙁

    It's 90' from the back point of the plate to the rear corner of the base. Not 90' to the anchor.

    Why’d you draw the lines before you repositioned home plate

    You guys need to come do this in michigan man our pony field is horrible there's weeds all over the base path the pitching mound has been dug all the way done about from consistent digging and our basepath is so hard that whenever I slide I either cut my thighs or arms

    Why are you using a commerical heavy duty road roller to roll the grass? Don't you worry about root zone compaction or turfgrass destruction?

      We often do some aeration in some of these fields. No
      Damage is done with the roller. Due to the high traffic on this field because of tournaments and special event this field is consistently observed and maintained

      Jordan Roberts sometimes u need to roll the field with those, especially this field as u can see it’s not a well maintained field. it’s not an everyday item u use but once a year or less on a well maintained field is good.

    Why would the plate and the base be off?

    • @kmoratv3818
      @kmoratv3818  Před 5 lety +1

      The plates might have been previously place at the wrong measurment.

    You know when you measure to first and third it is to the back of the base not to the middle second is to the center from home plate.

      Darrin Davis I was thinking that too.

      Darrin Davis we measure from the point of home plate to first and third to get propper measurment. Sorry for the late response

      Zack Pollak sometimes, make it easier for the next guy to run the chalk

      kmoratv chalk is a pain. I'd rather paint any day but wasn't sure what it would do to the dirt. I'll have to try it.

    it still not accurate guys. before u even striped u should of pulled all ur string lines out. especially home plate to the mound. u need 2 strings on each side of the rubber to the corners on the plate to square it then a third from the center of the plate to 2nd base. u guys need a little more training before u start doing fields.
