Also it’s HAMAS that kills, maims and staves people, not Israel. And also I just to point out, the poor victims of Oct 7th (Israeli men, women, children, babies, the elderly including holocaust survivors, plus the poor migrant workers from across the world) weren't given the warnings that Israel provides Gazans (yeah funny that, people that want to commit genocide do not give civilians an advance warning that they’re coming so move to safety, making this baseless and politically motivated accusation even more insulting to actual victims of genocide).

@@cuteladybug8622 I ask: where's your outrage, if you're going to try to avoid feeling the NECESSARY abhorrence for the Genocide in Gaza? How do you know about which other campaigns anyone has supported? Would anyone reading know how old anyone is, who's commenting? A commenter may have only just become old enough to campaign?
Have citizens of Yemen been able to tell the world what's being committed, in any way similar to what Gazan people have been determined to do, to the point of charging phones from disused car batteries?
Has the UK been directly funding the killing of children in Yemen? (Maybe it has? I'm writing from Australia). Has the UK government been actively voting against ending atrocities in Yemen? It's been actively dehumanising and voting against ceasing harm against Palestinians. Last century's British colonisation of Palestine is also the root cause of the spread of zionism into Palestine, with all of the associated violence, that is continuing until the utter catastrophe now being committed.
All of those factors give British citizens the ethical responsibility to insist that their government does the right thing, regarding active support for genuine PEACE PROCESSES in Palestine/Israel.
Gaza and West Bank are the locations of the founding holy sites of three major religions. Whether religious, or not, the names of places, such as Bethlehem, are part of many peoples' cultural history. The three Wise Men, who brought gifts for Baby Jesus, would have brought their frankincense at the Gaza markets, around 2,000 years ago. (Thanks to Sammy Obeid You Tube channel, for that information). Thus, the atrocities have an added element of being in places that are well known, to many cultures, around the world.
Is "whataboutism" brought about by a rightful sense of guilt, or unease? If so, I personally think that's good news, because it's a sign of peoples' consciences showing them the direction that they really feel that they ought to take, themselves.

I mean Qatar hosts the Hamas leaders but not the Palestinian citizens...weird
And I fully agree with you that the Jews shouldn't have all been moved to Palestine (or whatever it was called back then).
