I actually won an engraved .357 in a gun con before the challenge was to hit all targets then I was going to buy a custom robotic looking Glock 17 but it was 2700 so I didn’t.

About the C96: on the metal plate it says "Gott mit uns", so "God with us".
Dont know if its original but it could be.
The crown in the middle was the symbol of the german emperor Wilhelm i guess.

I think it says “Gott mit uns” implying your hands are cold.
“God with us” was the motto of the Prussian state. The crown also was the the Prussian symbol for a long time. The piece itself is the middle section of a Prussian belt buckle of the load bearing gear.

Watch the Ian McCollum video on this gun, the Lladro Alien, at the Forgotten Weapons You Tube Channel. He totally abuses it (it's painful to watch) and it works perfectly. This is probably the commercial prototype for the next generation of handguns. A remarkable piece of engineering and design

I own a Hudson h9. It was purchased as a collection piece and range Queen. I'm very glad I pre-ordered and paid retail. *Sigh* 2018. Such a simple, uncomplicated time. I fell in love with the design the first time I saw it. Although the h9 doesn't fall in the same category as something like a Dan Brown or Alien, it's a really unique firearm and I'm glad to own it. Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable shooting it very much. It's extremely pleasant to shoot, but if something breaks, replacement parts will definitely be difficult to come by. It's really cool to own a modern pistol that is both rare and unique.

You should definitely get your hands on a Korth PRS. Beautifully machined German 1911 style Handgun. And in my opinion well worth the exotic Price tag!
It’s worth it when someone has gone over it to make sure the to,era cues are just right and the fit and finish shows AND the fun works like champ is defintely worth it . One can tell you holding superior quality . Kinda like holding a nice knife next to its Knick off that looks the same but doesn’t quite feel the same in operation and everything else . Good vid .one really doesn’t understand price differences until actually spending time with two different things .

Haha I appreciate that but they don’t work well as shorts. That said I am committing to average 4 full format (landscape) vids per month, and they tend to be 7-20min each so all in all I’ll have more landscape than portrait content out there for ya

So here's a question- it may not even apply to you because of the type of collector you are and the tier and quality of guns you own, but for most everyday folks that just like guns and can't afford the things you have, are there any makes and models that you would put out there that you would say are good quality? Example- I've always thought it would be great to own a CZ 75 or a Beretta 92 or a 1911. But I humbly confess that I'm drawn to 'budget' firearms because we live paycheck to paycheck like most families. Amazing collection bro! Thank you! 🇺🇲

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I feel like most of your customs like the nighthawk are well worth the money. Just the wow factor alone. Not even including function. But I’m also the guy that will drop $750-$1500 on a folding pocket knife and use it every day. Like you said, functional art as well as a high end tool.

For the Mauser, I remember watching a Forgotten Weapons video on it a while back, and I think I remember him discussing the holster. I has been so long, I don't remember the details, but I believe I saw the leather detail on that video.

The C96 holster is a newer WW2 model given out to Flak crews or u boat crews or in some very rare occasions to hitler youth battalions to train with them since they were a bit outdated. The U boat would carry them and in case they had to abandon the boat they could use these weapons for defense. The "coin" that is on the holster reads "Gott mit Uns" which translates to "God along with us" and is actually no coin but a small part of a belt buckle of a group "chief" of the hitler youth. So this might be a C96 which was issued to the hitler youth.

In my opinion spend your money how u like. I hate the term haters but people literally hate because they can’t afford something and want to cope by telling YOU it’s a waste of money. I think Gucci expensive guns are definitely worth it. With that said I’ll rather have a $500 AR than nothing.

My favorite hand gun is my Glock 17 3rd Gen ... I’ve had a number of expensive af hand guns. But always come back to my 3rd Gen G17 for my EVERYDAY Carry.
I had a 509 and it was imo better than my glock 19 out of the box, paid basically the exact same for them both
Have a 509 tactical and compared to a g19x I like it better in just about every way except the trigger. 509's have wack triggers but it's gotten better over time.

Have you fired the Laugo Alien? I’m currently in the market for an Atlas Chaos open division pistol or Phoenix Trinity Honcho open, etc. but have considered changing routes for the moment and try finding a Laugo Alien (also wouldn’t hurt having saved $1k-2k in doing so) as they’re extremely innovative, collector worthy and just flat out sexy! I also wouldn’t mind running it through some competitions, either 👀

I have a few Wilson combat and staccatos and a nighthawk. Nothing like your collection. The alien is in my sights next. Expensive well built handguns are definitely worth it. But so are some mid tier I dig a lot of sigs. But I also own an unfired HiPoint .380. It is the only display gun of mine. All of them worth it.

Gorgeous collection. I feel real good knowing you would be the type to train and carry the cheapest ones. I myself would carry the Alien as EDC. Pry put the big ones in the trunk of the vehicle. I actually bought an airsoft version of the Nighthawk agent 2. Nicest airsoft pistol I own, translates that craftsmanship to the airsoft version very well, and besides a few minor details (firing pin bay being one of them, mine goes all the way up to the rear sight), very similar quality. And yes, mine has the smoke finish, but I do wish I had that gold colored barrel though!

@@Harley831 - not everyone with a genuine admiration for firearms lives in a place that allows their ownership. Even in the US. Some states and/or cities have restrictions even for home protection that if you’ve EVER taken any psychotropic medication (say if you were flying and had anxiety so your doctor prescribed you Xanax, or if you had sleep problems so you took Ambien), you would be denied on your firearms license application.
Therefore for many people living (unfortunately) under such nutty laws restricting constitutional rights, an airsoft version is the next best thing. Literally no need to hate. The guy didn’t say he pretends he’s a soldier on the street, or that airsoft is better. It’s just the reality for many people.

"Gott mit uns" means "God with us". The exact logo configuration with the crown was used by the Imperial German Army in between 1871 and 1919. They also used it on belt buckles of higher ranking individuals.
