Homeschool Middle School - Modern world history - Historical Fiction

My son will be learning modern world history this year. Technically in 6th grade but these books would work for any of the middle grades. This isn't all he will read but the first chunk of books I have been able to get my hands on. Mostly these are about the history of Asia.
