Hope we will soon be able to reuse the depth map/mask in the masking panel!
Even better would be an option to also save the depth map :-)

You're so quick(I know you need to be) but I am lucky you're not a heart transplant surgeon. By the time I'm cutting the aorta, you're already washing up and going for coffee...haha.Thanks again for another great one...I just need to slow this down a bit.

Looking forward to comparisons of this AI vs various 1.2 lenses.

How is your lens blur so fast? When i try to use this feature, it takes 5 minutes on each photo. I have done everything possible to clear space, cache etc on my computer and the lens blur is still extremely slow

    As clear as crystal glass.

I wish LR added more ability to control highlight specular intensity in the blurred area. Backlit scenes look unnatural.

I guess I can sell my Noctilux lens now.

As a long time lightroom user ( since the first version ), I couldn't be more disinterested in this ' feature '. This kind of reminds me of the saying that Lying about something but not getting caught is not the same as telling the truth. All these features seem to be aimed at ' phone ' photographers whose use of miniscule lenses, small ultra high density sensors and a total lack of control over the depth of field makes for some very uninteresting image recording.

Incredible feature but worrying, or perhaps a disappointing development. As others have alluded to, this kind of feature is eliminating the need to know what you are doing when one takes the original photograph.

I understand where you're coming from. But even with this feature, I still bring my tilt shift lens with me when I'm making photographs. I like the ability to see the effects in real time and make adjustments at the time I click the shutter, but not everyone has a lens like that so maybe this will inspire them to see what can be done with optics. For me, it's all about the experience and the process. : )

So AI **cks up another field of creativity. This is all so demoralising for those who value craft
