I was gonna say 'Well how come u ain't been fixing any of the ******* potholes out my way then??' but I'm in the UK so it's maybe a bit too far for you to come 😤 There are some craters on my usual ride outs on my bike and they've been there so long that I've memorised their locations and have to ride a wiggly line around them all to avoid any nasty incidents. 🕳🏍
Just joking on the post "it must be Monday slugs" went to look at them myself looked great will make sure the jobs go to you.your reply back to my comment was very professional thank you
There was a four inch deep pot hole made during construction on a major highway and it took them a month to fill it! There was another 2 inch one on a road the way home and its been a year that they ignore it. There's another man made pot hole at an interstate on my way to work were we got at 70mph that they ignore even though freaking construction is happening next to it!
How long does a repair such as this remain in good stead in the north? Our city had a dedicated truck that did if not this very thing then something very similar and they got rid of it after the first year as the repairs failed in Northern Ontario where we are. The Sault has gone back to cold patch unless the hole is dry in which case they apply hot patch. Mike
First hole looked great afterwards. Second hole I thought they needed to spread it out a bit more there was still quite a few large cracks visible. These would have just continued to deteriorate and would eventually continue to develop into a ring of potholes around the original filled in one. Otherwise looks awesome!
I would seriously consider to contact local authorities in Belgium and propose the purchase of such a machine. We do that by hand now with warm asphalt and we don't like to work with a sjovel.
On that second "patch" the surrounding area will continue to break up making a BIGGER pothole around the patch. Good waste of taxpayer money coming out 3-4 + times and end up with multiple "patches" in that area.
Exactly that was bugging me all the while I was expectedly watching for them to treat the surrounding area too, but nope not interested in doing a complete job.
mickey smith what do you expect dude? They can't take hours to rip up the road entirely and replace it for every pothole. They would never catch up to the rate they're forming.
unfortunately, in the salt belt, the thawing of roads will cause potholes like this and we can't rip up the roads every single month... it's not an affordable solution. so we have cheap solutions that last 15 minutes
i hate that stuff. where i live on a hot summer day all it takes is one truck to drive over it and it is pushing up out into the road and the pothole comes straight back but now u have a hump surrounding the pothole aswell.
Actually, that crap patch will be there long after the existing road surface in that area has worn away. I've seen it used in some places in my area - 10 years later the patch is still there and the rest of the road has deteriorated.
' too many cracks this one area... not good to refilled it up... must cutting big circle round and remove old crack... fill up with hot rock cement / concrete in the pothole until getting cool and harden
If you look carefully you will see that none of these potholes are actually on the highway but forecourts or in car parks where you are expected to have your wits about you anyway and not be banjaxxing your tyres by driving into these chasms of destruction at high speed. It would be interesting, four years on to re-visit the same site.
The alligator block cracking means the asphalt is totally ruined. NO pothole patch of any kind, style or type whatsoever can correct that area. It is structurally destroyed and must be removed by milling. A 2" structural resurface is the only thing that will work. Otherwise it needs full depth reconstruction Expensive? Yes. But it's the only thing left at that stage. The pothole patch machine is fine for a 5 year old road that has an occasional pothole.
Meanwhile in Atlanta our state spent billions of dollars building new stadiums for teams that cant win instead of fixing the potholes that have been here for over a decade.
Lol because how many potholes are you supposed to fill in an hour? XD When a pothole is properly repaired road works are on for like an entire day in the area.
Not very long at all, best to avoid them swerve a little in your own lane if you can or you'll be up for some expensive repairs. Also damages alloy rims VERY easily.
Can you imagine the sales tax revenue from each pot hole. How many new tires, front end alignments are necessary because of pot holes. It’s counterproductive from a revenue stance for government to repair pot holes. Great system we have right?
If that is really that fast, then why are there so many potholes around? seems like they could do a whole city in a week or 2. So what is really going on with city employees??
very efficient. New York people will definitely need a thousand of these machines.
Great noisy video for public restroom pooping. Thanks, informative too!
If you have a smelly neighbor, you could play the video entitled "Drop One Flush One"
Excellent work. I just watched a video exposé on pothole fillers goofing off in Detroit. It's good to see some men working hard at what they do!

I also just watched the Detroit freeloaders.
Lmao rhose dam slackers and there old English 40 ounces
accurate representation of city workers... fill two potholes and call it a day
Watching road crews in my Northern Michigan town patching pot holes with asphalt. Two days later the re-patching same holes.
Job security
Wow. JB weld really does works on everything.
We need this in my city! Tons of potholes going unfilled or filled with that chunky black tar stuff that lasts for a day.
reminds of concrete leveler liquid. is it quickset concrete combine with pavement crack fill? what is it.
Not sure how long these repairs last but oddly satisfying to watch.
What a hard job !!! No wonder it takes 4ever to repair potholes XO

Why am I watching this??? At work even!!!

Truck Load I'll respond to cause I'm at work.....and on break!! So don't be so quick to judge. Integrity, what do you know!
Same here.
Because you're a complete loser who's ripping off their boss. Shame, oh the shame

this is somehow very satisfying

Satisfying to watch

Only 500 trillion more potholes to go
And thats just in my road
That should last good solid week!
What's that quick dry cement? Nothing better then road band aid cold patch. 😎

Mike
I wish my city cared enough to fill up a hole that small
Is the friction coefficient similar to asphalt?
Road repairs, as never to be seen in the UK :o)
First hole looked great afterwards. Second hole I thought they needed to spread it out a bit more there was still quite a few large cracks visible. These would have just continued to deteriorate and would eventually continue to develop into a ring of potholes around the original filled in one. Otherwise looks awesome!
and two weeks it looks like before repairing?
Michigan needs about 1,500 of these things rn
And then here comes the snow plow😂 Shit might work down south but here in NY them plows will tear that shit up😂
wish they did that around me , the holes they ''fix'' are bumps or dips and within a year that same hole will be open again
Are these repairs supposed to last more than three days?
The forbidden gravy
wow, first time I've EVER seen it done right.
is that like some kind of an epoxy? that is awesome
Please send a salesperson to Wisconsin. Every road here needs this. I like this product VS a coldpatch that is stamped down with a shovel.
I would seriously consider to contact local authorities in Belgium and propose the purchase of such a machine. We do that by hand now with warm asphalt and we don't like to work with a sjovel.
whats the drying time of that stuff?
Mmm.2 years I think . sorry its 5 years
great cure for insomnia, well done...................
I'd love to know how fast you can skid on that ridiculous patch
'
after finish filling up pothole...
how long to getting completely dry and hard
24 hours, I guess...
What is that a resin ?
hope that's fast drying soup
wish they used this in Illinois. They fix a bridge every 3-4 months with stupid asphalt and it turns to potholes, then they do the same patch again.
Great for horizontal roadways. What about the potholes on hills?
my same question seeing this solution ..
By looking at they're foot wear they must be going to play tennis after work. ?
Nice shoes bro.
I watched the Detroit goofing off video too ,remind me never to move there.
How much for a bowl of that soup?
Tennis shoes ? Safety vest, eye protection, head protection. I'd like to see these repairs in 24 months.
you are getting sleepy, keep watching the goo flooooow
Wie siehts da heute aus?
Now thats a hot patch acid heat then patch will hold but costly
Ok i like it but how long before you can drive on it???????? i can put mud into the hole faster but it won't fix the problem.
Lol Dot pot hole. wow that company would be somthing to invest in
Portugal is also a market for pothole filling
Can you do potholes on hills?
If you combine concrete and asphalt, would you call it ascrete? Anyway, the repair looks more durable than the actual road surface. Well done.

What is this pothole filling machine make an modell?
Here. dotpotholefiller.com/
How does this get on my recommended list?
Couldn't get New Orleans to do 5 of these in a day.
Nice on a flat surface, but what about slopes?
It's self leveling so if you use enough of the stuff it will slide down the hill and totally remove the slope!
@@rupe53 What an amazing comment, have me a laugh, thanks.
the real heros
What is that, 90% water and 10% concrete?
I can't believe I'm watching this
looks like it's going to be a slippery surface
*You want to see actual potholes? Come to PA in the Winter.*
RockinRob69 We dont have potholes in PA. We have craters.
alguien sabe que es el polvo blanco....
what if you hit that slop 2 mins after you guys leave?
Well they don't remove the road cones until it sets up which takes about 15 - 30 minutes.
what if you hit a road cone 2 mins after the guys leave.
Knight of CZcams then you're a shitty driver
Working in the sealcoating industry for over ten years, you wouldn't believe how many stupid people will drive right over traffic cones.
@@emilymendel503 what in the material?

Exactly that was bugging me all the while I was expectedly watching for them to treat the surrounding area too, but nope not interested in doing a complete job.
I was thinking they should be real nice and slippery especially when wet with no aggregate in that slurymix or whatever that was.
a bandaid job
mickey smith what do you expect dude? They can't take hours to rip up the road entirely and replace it for every pothole. They would never catch up to the rate they're forming.

From my experience the "bandaid" holds up better than the asphalt around it. It works really well.
mickey smith Can't get anything by you.
Dean Daniel if your in Michigan you drive on nothing but patches! The salt eats the road and the cars!
This must be how they fix potholes in Poland
I just watch Detroit slackers and their pimp boss too couple days ago😁😁😁😁funny
I just watched that one too lol
loved that video and the guy doing the puzzle too
our potholes in michigan are so big that cars fall in and disappear
Can you come to Powys, we've got at least 30 years work for you
It's just a bandaid. Every pothole will be back next winter.
Much better than they just put cold asphalt on it, and it falls apart after a couple of weeks!!!!! But this will cut out all the OT !!!!!
See plenty of these in my street 😅
i hate that stuff. where i live on a hot summer day all it takes is one truck to drive over it and it is pushing up out into the road and the pothole comes straight back but now u have a hump surrounding the pothole aswell.
Filled it with what gray water and a few rocks?
Actually it is a patented material that lasts longer than anything else currently on the market
Emily Mendel I disagree much better products out there try using your mud on interstate traffic see how long it last
That crap patch will last about 15 min on the interstate... or 3 semi trucks, whichever is first.
Actually, that crap patch will be there long after the existing road surface in that area has worn away. I've seen it used in some places in my area - 10 years later the patch is still there and the rest of the road has deteriorated.
Larry, They aren't on an interstate.

Thicc in all the right places 🤤🔥
That's pretty damn cheap , it doesn't fix the problem . Must be in the Midwest .
how fast does it dry?
sets up in 15 to 30 minutes
That stuff is incredible, wish l had franchise.

Glad I'm not driving down that street
30 minutes to set up seems like a long time. I don't know how productive you can be only filling two potholes an hour.
That means 30 minutes for the material to harden and can be driven over.
LOL
Lol because how many potholes are you supposed to fill in an hour? XD When a pothole is properly repaired road works are on for like an entire day in the area.
I dont think you ever worked for a city.productive is not in the vocabulary loll
Lol someone got dropped as a baby
Being that to Indianapolis. Our pothole epidemic is worse than heroin
Wasn't even a pothole.
We call that busy work.
id like to see how long that patch last for....

hi AC...
depend on material on the black mixed glue and weather
I used it 5 or 6 years ago and filled some potholes the stuff is amazing the tar around the pothole will give out before the patch I'm in Michigan
How long would your suspension last, driving through an untreated pothole?
Not very long at all, best to avoid them swerve a little in your own lane if you can or you'll be up for some expensive repairs. Also damages alloy rims VERY easily.
they don't..
Bandaid technology.
all these peel off like a plaster
They will be back there in 9 months...

Might as well just use spray foam insulation
come to cornwall uk the road are a joke here
