Filling is not repairing, it's base damage dude! No base repair no bueno.
Garbage ... around here water will get under that in the winter and pop that thing right off then a plow will come by and finish the job. No way this crap is even semi-long term permanent. Just another gimik some contractor came up with to charge state / town govs money. The ONLY solution to a large pothole is to dig down to road base - repair the road base - then repave the spot WITH A ROLLER not a vib. compactor - and seal
No possible way this is real way to fix pothole. My guess contractors cheapest way out. Idk. That crap will not stand up to any amount of time.

If used properly it's awesome. In the hands of a lazy B. I've watched them just pour onto garbage in Hoboken, no clear the hole, no pre heat no bonding agent. Disgusting what employees do when they have a job they can't be fired from. They should come with cameras so the manufacturer knows its the operator not the equipment messing up.

The idiots in my town put an inch of asphalt over stuff like this and call it good. Then a few months later it falls apart then more asphalt. Rinse and repeat.

The alligator block cracking means the asphalt is totally ruined. NO pothole patch of any kind, style or type whatsoever can correct that area. It is structurally destroyed and must be removed by milling. A 2" structural resurface is the only thing that will work. Otherwise it needs full depth reconstruction Expensive? Yes. But it's the only thing left at that stage. The pothole patch machine is fine for a 5 year old road that has an occasional pothole.
Now thats a hot patch acid heat then patch will hold but costly
Complete and total waste of time, you have to remove all the chipped and broken asphalt or it will happen after a few weeks of rain and a few thousand cars YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK

Watching road crews in my Northern Michigan town patching pot holes with asphalt. Two days later the re-patching same holes.
