Fun fact: At the start of the video when Gjon is on the train, the music that sounds is the melody that sounds in every train in Spain before an announcement. What it says after is "Próxima estación" meaning Next station.

I wonder if gjon realises that when he made his grandfather cry with his voice at the age of ten, then named himself accordingly, that One day he would make is all cry? How can One voice have so much power of my emotions?
the thing with Eurovision is that allows more people to discover great artists that under "normal" conditions go unnoticed, and a good number of those artists get the visibility necessary to launch long and successful careers, and i sincerely hope this is Gjon's case because he's got that star quality and an incredible voice that many wish to have.

As a Portuguese with Ukrainian roots, it ressonates with me too. Even though my soul feels Ukrainian, I can't deny that Portuguese culture influenced me a lot in my way of thinking and so on. I also have interest for many other countries, not only in Europe, but in the whole world.

@@eloiskapole7751 that is a very interesting question. in the end this is of course a personal preference and choice. i would just personally like to hear him in all three languages, as i am curious how that would impact his writing in itself. and in English I would immediately understand him which would give me another impact to think about the song at the same time during the listening.
i am in any case very much looking forward to hearing new music from him regardless of what kind of language he will use.

Nick Ak no language is the „oldest“, most european languages come from the same ancestry, the indoeuropean language. greek language has one of the most old texts and stuff tho. albanian and greek are paleo-balkanic languages and probably share a more close ancestor language.
I've never heard a voice like that, so special and unique, it deserves more views, please make more songs and never stop doing what you love !

Even though I love this performance and the voice is quite unique, I know at leat one artist that could easily nail this song as well (and even sing it better), but unfortunately he is not allowed to enter ESC as for now. Maybe in the future. His name is... just look it up.

I don't know why... Gjon's Tears's music have something familiar with Aurora's music. The feeling of wildness and rawness in all of their songs that I can't explain it.
He likes her, so... definitely some kind of an inspiration for him, even if it's not that direct.

Only 3 songs but all sound so good! He already won at life!
The worst thing ever is when you have an artist have a hit & then you go check them out, they have hundreds of songs & all suck hairy donkey balls. Such a let down!
Then you get someone like this who makes a hit, so you go check him out & he only has 2 additional songs but they all slap just as hard if not harder than the hit you first heard.
All you can do now is sit & impatiently wait until he blesses us with another gem!

Well, based on the jury's verdict, one can argue he did 'win' the 2021 contest. But the public favoured two other artists. However, that should take absolutely nothing away from his talent and voice! If anything, not having won may actually be better for his future career, as Eurovision can be as much of a curse as a blessing. I wish him luck and am eagerly awaiting his first album!

What even is this song like wtf. Absolutely astonishing voice, this is absolute talent. Then there’s music which is also complete perfection and it connects soooo well with the voice and the melody is just… perfect. Then there’s lyrics, where I absolutely love the Albanian part and that you don’t understand it at all makes it even better, the sound of the language connected with the rest is pure perfection. The somewhat ethnic parts at the end add so much depth to the song it literally makes it an even bigger masterpiece than it was before. Tou’t l’universe and Repondez moi were really really good but this is just at a diffrent level. PURE ART
