- Gjon Muharremaj, better known as Gjon's Tears, impressed our Coaches with his incredible voice and artistic style! After making it to the semi-finals of The Voice France Season 8, he went on to represent Switzerland on Eurovision 2021. While he received the jury vote during Eurovision, he did not win the public vote, scoring him 3rd place. Later in 2021, he came back to The Voice, for the All Star season! Even though his every performance has something smooth about it, I choose Under Pressure for the mesmerising vocal games, Corps for the incredible transmission of emotions and Christine for the very creative execution and changes of chords.💙 It made three but... the struggle is real 🤭
I love Under Pressure for his performance and his incredible vocal rollercoasters 🔥, but Sur un prelude de bach is so beautifully emotional and sincere that it became my favorite! 💙
Rocket Man is the one I show to people when I’m trying to explain the appeal. I think his cover is actually better than the original!!

Unfortunately, in his two semi-finals, he was against the winner of the season. He should have been in the all stars finals though. His song for switzerland in Eurovision was a masterpiece. Make me proud of the music in my country

Im not a French speaker nor very educated or cultured of French singing/composition... but question for yall:
Is that little bollywood-like yodel or heavy throat singing that resembles a lot of indigenous people's singing components some what typical of French speaking singers? Or it this something unique of his interpretation of music?
I know Gjon studied yodel, indian singing as well as classical/opera singing, so I think this translates into his unique vocal palette. He has Balkanic roots, so he also knows and uses that style of singing.
Maybe it's that, but it's an opinion too.

Having a question about "singing": Gjon singing all those songs in a "clear" voice.. as an example. Others "using" raw, disturbed..etc. in their singing. Are those a sort of "camouflaging" defaults or was it meant for "extra dept"? Clear voice against all others.. What is better? Are they "equal" talent having?
Remembering Micheal Angelo : Making "defaults" in his artwork on purpose! "IF" shaping his "creations" clear and correct ? It would be " weird from the point of "viewers"! (Perspectives..) Is this also with music, singing? Can you sing Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, AC/DC, etc.. "clear"? Yes..you can ! but SO wrong to hear..no?
Not about Gjon at all..having surprising" talent in voice. Only having questions about music compared with "viewed" art..
