Remember when FCPX first came out and it didn't have multicam editing and the magnetic timeline was this weird alien thing no one was used to. It's come a long way...I guess it has been 10+ years I think.

One of my largest pet peeves on CZcams is intros that take longer than 20 seconds. So I will always try to get right to the point whenever possible! Even looking back at my videos from a year ago, I cringe at my intros that go for like 40 seconds haha!

I had lost my way with using the tracker because I don't need it often. Was driving me nuts with the rotation thing until you showed how easy it is to disable the rotation of a tracked object. Big thanks for the concise tip.

Hi! I'm new to the object tracker and having difficulty with jitters. I use a lot of chest-mounted gopro footage. If my footage isn't buttery smooth (The kind that could easily be keyframed in under a minute), the tracker bumps and jumps to try and keep a lock on the object, resulting in a very jarring tracking effect. Is there an option somewhere to smooth out the tracking so that it follows a less precise but more visually pleasing path?

Hello brother! I have a separate question. I was trying to upload some footage for stock footage and had to change the aspect ratio and it was a weird one I never seen before. When I closed out my Final Cut and came back in I no longer can see the place In the inspector all the way to the right where it says spacial conform fill fit, none and it has disappeared and also my footage becomes fisheye for some reason. Need help! Please, thanks😀

Is there a way to keep the tracker from tracking a face? I'm trying to track an object in the background, and it works until somebody walks into frame then it shifts to tracking their face for the rest of the clip. It seems to have such a priority for tracking faces that it refuses to track anything else once a face moves across the originally tracked object.
can it track movement you built into a clip with transform, onto another clip? example: a still image with ken burns movement added in FCP, but you want to track in another image locked onto first...

I was thinking about buying the Pixar Film Studios Auto Tracker because I want to track an object so that it stays always in the centre of the screen. I wonder whether I could create this effect with FCPX tracker. What do you think? Sorry for coming with questions. I've tried to look it up but I found nothing.

Hello everything is fine? An error is happening in my FCPX, when I add a TRACKER to a scene (I do the whole process of placing it in a contrasting point in the scene for better recognition and such) when I go to ANALYSE, the FCPX closes by itself and then a message appears ALERT saying: Final Cut Pro X shut down unexpectedly, can you tell what it could be? I'm desperate to resolve this. I would really appreciate it if you could help! HUGS. Note: I have MacBook Pro Retina 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 Quad-Core Processor - Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB - 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Memory - SSD Running Ventura 13.6
