I so want a Z dx 16-55mm f/2.8 VR lens. I’d even be temped to get a Z dx 16-80 f/2.8-4 VR.
I'd love a fast ultra wide prime: 10-15mm
That's a great choice too! 10mm would be great, but I do feel like it's got to be a zoom if it is 10mm.
Need a 70-200 f4. I have the 2.8 but would trade it for an f4 for a smaller lens
What do you think of the 24-400 Nikon just dropped? Do you think that would be a good landscape lens in place of the 24-200? I have a 70-200 and want to try to diversify my focal ranges
Great content, just want to make a remark about the astrophotography. I just don't like wide angle lenses for astrophotography, Even the 20 1.8 is too wide. I use it mainly for astro timelapses. But you get so much better results with 50 and panorama merging, or even with 35. The Milky Way is so tiny on 20, not to mention to 14. Absolutely no detail in the core. So I would like nikon to release 35 1.2 for this.
I would go for a 14mm f2.
I'd like to see something lighter and cheaper than the z mount 100-400 like the Sigma 100-400 brought over.
Nikon NEEDS a [FX] Z 16-35/2.8 S lens OR 15-35/2.8 S lens. That's the fast zoom I'm waiting on to flush out my "unholy trinity":
• 16-35/4 (Nikkor F-mount)**
• Z 35-150/2-2.8
• Z 100-400/4.5-5.6 S
My Nikkor 16-35/4 is a great lens still, but I want the Z mirrorless version (& it has to be S-line). It'd be my go-to wide-angle landscape/low-light/UW lens.
Sony has their 16-35/2.8 GMii & Canon has their 15-35/2.8 RF...there is zero reason Nikon shouldn't already have this lens in their Z line-up.
For those that will say, "Get the Z 14-24/2.8," I need the long range in 35mm. & for that same reasoning, the 17-28/2.8 isn't an option (& to be snobbish, it's not S-line).
The 200mm macro lens. Would love to see an S line version of the lens. Nikon never bothered to go pass the AF-D line with that lens.
Not complete… 35mm 1.2 still not here.
