What's your favourite Liam or Oasis or Beady Eye track?
Liam: Misunderstood
Oasis: Bring It On Down
Beady Eye: Back After the Break
Riverman
the roller (beady eye)
Chinatown (liam)
Soul Love
Oasis = The Importance of Being Idle
Beady Eye = Soul Love
Liam = Once / When i'm in need
Cast no shadow is a timeless masterpiece. Who agrees with me?
I know some people donât like promotion in comments but for me it is the way to let people hear my music. I just uploaded some oasis inspired songs on my channel. Go over there and let me know if you like them. That would help me a lot.
âđœ
I love noel singing it too
Thousand times over. Lyrical content par Beatles
This is by far the best version of this song. One of my favorite songs of all time. And I love Liam's vocals. His voice is basically the soundtrack of my youth. Noel, you suck. Get the band back together you wanker.
Liam has got his voice back ..... the last true rockstar . He never sold out , working mans hero đ
he's flat on pretty much every vaguely high note mate!
@@andyjm7122Doesn't matter... he sounds better than he did in the mid 2000's and during Oasis' final years. If you listen to Familiar to Millions he's singing way better now than even then. You can hear he actually does his best and gives a shit. Back then he just showed up (sometimes not even) and took a lot for granted.
@@Deathshuck It's not to my liking, hearing him attempt songs like rockin chair and he's like a whole note flat on the chorus, it's painful.
@@andyjm7122 heâs absolute class
@@andyjm7122 He didn't hit a high note mate! You have no clue.
Man I get chills thinking about him and Noel doing this song together again...
In the process
@@stephenkeegan5625 I (we) wish, would travel all the way to the UK just to be there...
when the time and money is right, and when the world is ready.... watch
Dude you LISTEN TO OASIS
The first Mtv Unplugged album number 1 since "Nirvana Live from New York in 1994"
The 2 greatest bands to do unplugged!
The Alice in chains unplugged album is also top notch imo
Took me back to the memory of Maine Road 1996 when i first heard that
SH Sourav best concert ever Maine road mate legends
Was at Maine Road. This is actually a very decent performance tbh.
All thatâs missing is the Umbro jumper đ
Best version ever
I was at this and the Maine Road gig, very lucky. Gives me goose bumps watching them both back.
Watching Liam sing gives me goosebumpsâŠI didnât know it was possible for a singer to lose their voice and then get it back again.
Joe Williams lost his voice in 1988 and regained it again.
Love how a bunch women are singing Noelâs bit
Quite fitting lol
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł It hadn't occurred to me that connection
Thatâs how it is on wtsmg âïž
His voice is back to its best again what a performance an what a song
Why Liam's voice is so on point in this gig?
He had some rest before recording it and warmed up as well.
Practice and taking the time to rest are two of the most important things when it comes to singing.
Lots of singers lost their voice due to overuse. Axl Rose is an prime example to that, the non stop touring alongside studio recordings mixed with abusive alcohol consumption and smoking habits, pretty much destroyed his vocal folds by the end of 1996. Robert Plant had some issues as well by end of the 70's. Kurt Cobain didn't live through it, but in live concerts he was tearing his voice apart harder than Axl's ever did in the early 90's. If he was still alive, his voice would probably be sadder to hear than Liam's in 2006/final Oasis gigs in which he pretty much shouted into to mic to produce any sound at all.
@@wolololololol3988 I see, seems the preparation was very decent at that moment. I heard Liam break his voice because of throat singing instead of diaphragm.
@@kertaskindew yeah, at least he's done a wonderful recovery and now takes proper care of his voice. He'll never sound like he did in his prime again, obviously. But damn, rkid sounds great nowadays.
Vinicius Eduardo Bomfim Also diagnosed with Hashimotoâs Disease a Thyroid condition which has effect on the vocal chords, makes the voice weak and hoarse. If Liam can sing as a 47 yo man, when he was 3x he would have had much better voice if his diagnosis wasnât late. Now he is under treatment. Itâs a shame that he diagnosed too late, but he had a big recovery.
@@wolololololol3988 When Axl looks after his voice and warms up properly he can still nail it. Go look at guns live performances from 2006, 2010 and Axl with AC/DC from 2016. He sounds better that in his prime in those performances.
Bonehead looks like a manlier phil collins, absolutely based
watanabex Eh, not at all.
Beautiful, not one phone in sight.
this is my brother's favorite song. he just died 2 months ago. Rest In Peace...
hugs
Rest in peace to your brother. This song always makes me think of my Dad
Liam sounding as great as ever here
As they took his soul they stole his pride...
... Masterpiece
His voice is amazing here
Liam sounds absolutely fantastic here
96' Knebworth version is the best song i've ever heard in my life...
Maine Road
@@jungfraulicheukulele8682 True, those 2 ones are equal
âMaine Rdâ is best and âSlide Awayâ at Knebworth

Here's a thought for every man

The maine Road version is the best live performance of an oasis song I have ever heard. And Liam sounds just as good here
he sounds excellent, but it's never going to be as good as Maine Road 1996, and its fine.
Agree but ! This not 1996 and he was written off 13 years ago .. this performance is passionate and a man who wants to prove a point... hence the first live Mtv unplugged number 1 since 94
nah he's really flat here, as he always is nowadays.
@@andyjm7122 , go give your ears a clean out he is anything but flat here. He absolutely nailed it
ONE OF US, MTV! WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THE OFFICIAL VIDEO...
The girls on the backing vocals are absolutely amazing. But no one compares to Noel's performances in Knebworth/Maine Road, the raw power of Liam's voice was in perfect harmony with Noel's high notes back then. Those two performances are beyond biblical, but this one, is something special... Live Forever rkid.
C'mon guys, you don't need to reform Oasis, just be brothers again. That's what truly matters.
Vinicius Eduardo Bomfim spot on. Cast No Shadow at Maine Road is probably Oasisâ single best live performance
@@shep18886 agreed the Maine Road version is goosebumps tackle đ„
@@shep18886 shame Liam can't seem to get the lyrics right though, both in the 90s and now but thats common for himđ

Liam Gallagher THE TRUE ROCKSTAR
Probably neither Liam himself could predict a concert like this in 2020... Live forever rkidâ€
I was wishing he says 'You can take my soul, don't take my pride.'
I like that version
No, I like the idea, but it shows that when you leave you're soul, you have nothing, that's the whole point of the song
A la knebworth. Unsurpassed live version.
IMO.

Best concert
Liam The Best Frontman
He sounds terrific
Knebworth, Maine road, Union Chapel and now this !! My favourite song
This is so close to as good as Maine Road 1996. When you consider 24 year gap between versions, this is actually a miracle how good he still is
FFS this vocal is literally near exactly in his prime. Trust me I was at Maine Road 96 so I know. Man this is beautiful. So good to hear him sing the same these days. I love it!!! Thanks!!!
Wow ,Liam looks almost the same as he did 30 years ago, brings me back, well done, smashing voice as always
i cant believe man..just cant believe your voice is back..i thought it never be..your brother is back noel. why dont you change yor mind and sing together again. i want to hear liam singing IN THE HEAT OF THE MOMENT!!
So glad Liam has his Raspy, ruggerd voice back!! Best rock n roll voice that will forever beâŠ
His voice here is fucking amazing!
I must admit, his voice is in TOP FORM in this video!!!
Despues de 25 años por fin el Unplugged de Oasis ( Con Liam)
Liam, i don't know what you are doing to your voice, but, keep it up, you're retrieving your vocal power!
That's a great performance and is great that there's Bonehead....Noel, where are you?!?
You can take my soul don't take my pride!
When you take my soul don't take my pride!

Must be roasting in the jacket. One of my fav Oasis song! I love Liam.
Itâs amazing how he bounced back ! Got his voice back to perfection above all. He never gave up on his passion and love for the music. Hands down to ar kid what a legend.
This song hits different, the passion from the crowd and the energy is unreal! Vocals hit man Fucking Legend
This is my all time favourite Oasis tune. But this solo from liam is even better. I absolutely love this tune
Liam Gallagher IS OASIS!!
This is probably better than the album version to be honest , heâs on point here
Richard Ashcroft... true Rock n Roll star
This is as good as Liam's voice has sounded since 2005/06
One of my favorite songs from Oasis! đ I almost cried!
One of the best songs ever written. đđ»
I'm crying. Sounds wonderful.
Probably one of the best rock singers out of the UK since the 90s. This guy still brings it.
liam gallagher is my favorite superhero
I believe it was liams birthday this day n the crowd sang happy birthday to him at the end n he stood there clapping n smiling n thanked everyone. A man whos fans love him n he loves em back
He walks along the open road of love and life
Wow ! Liam is still amazing ! Respect from Russia !
I wish Liam performed like this more often rather than trying to relive the early days of Definitely Maybe all the time.
This is my Fave song to their 2nd album
had me in tears used this song for a video.a trip when young.my friend commited suicide. he was in the video.sad sad time remembering him and this track.miss you friend.
Something magical happened this night. :') Ah would have loved to be there. I was lucky to catch him live in Dubai.
Something deeply wrong with you if you didnât shed a tear at this. Liam and Bonehead performing this on stage 25 years after this song was originally released. They get it. If Oasis was anything, it was them two.
Biblical.
noel is a genius and Liam is the generations best front man and the LAST real rock star hands down.
I love Liam xx
Fuck it with who's watching in [year] as long as I'm still alive I'll still watch it every year . This song will live forever
The world is a better place when he sounds like this...
The background vocals are insane
Liam's voice is absolutely incredible! What a voice and song!
The setting, the background, the acoustics, the backing vocals, the orchestra, the song, the man. Heaven.

This gives me chills.
LIAM GALLAGHER FOREVER! LONG LIVE LIAM GALLAGHER!
Greatest song of all time
Masterpiece, still got the goosebump hearing this song, and the energy and the crowd
Other than Listen Up, this is up there as being my favourite Oasis track. When Iâm feeling down, I chuck it on and feel that the lyrics resonate with how I feel...itâs a weird sensation, but this song makes me feel things that nothing else can. What a band.
He sounds sublime while he sings this in Knebworth 95'.
That opening line makes the hairs stand up like the first time I heard it

Perhaps the unplugged we didn't see back in 1996. Amazing.
epic tune - which is dedicated to richard ashcroft - the verve, namely bitter sweet symphony & his struggle to earn royalties for the song.
As he faced the sun he cast no shadow~
this is absolutely beautiful.
The words in this song. Damn.
it's dedicated to his bud, richard ashcroft & his downward spiral with drugs as he wasn't earning any royalties from their most famous song - bitter sweet symphony.
"as they took his sole, they stole his pride" they accused him of stealing their song.
Masterpiece.
