Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 8 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have 2 half Thai, half American boys named Luke and Leon. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 6 years.
Wat and I have owned several businesses together on Maenam walking street in Koh Samui. Right now our restaurant Lilikoi Bistro is closed but we will let you know when we reopen.

Idk but if I were you I won't give my baby/toddler any durian because it contains alcohol. I'm not sure if it's safe enough to give to their fragile digestive system. I wish you and your family the best but please be more careful in choosing any food for your baby

as our children get older s do we my our three are un there 50s i also have 6 grand children 4 great grandchildren all over england although i lost my wife in 2013 july i still say ours .

I love how integrated Lilly is to the local community and culture. She goes in and out of speaking Thai, has expat friends, local friends, has her own business. She an inspiration for other Americans and Westerners thinking about living or retiring in Asia.

I’m Thai and my husband is English. We met in Australia 32 yrs ago where I was living there with my family. Lived in England for a few years, but spent most of our married life in Canada for 26 years. My husband and I recently made the move back to Australia to spend the rest of our retirement years… not quite there yet. We are only in our early 50s lol. We have 3 kids all were born in 3 different country. My oldest daughter have light colored eyes. Blue with a tint of green. My middle one have a beautiful dark brown eyes and my youngest has blue/grey colored eyes. I see Leon will probably end up keeping those beautiful light eyes. He looks more like his mummy. Thai durians are good but if you ever get the opportunity, you should try Malaysian Musang King 👑 I rate them as one of the best on planet earth 🌍 and must be planted in an district called Raub in the state of Pahang, Malaysia due to the climate, soil and water 👍👍👍

@@butterkaya9550 Agreed. Black thorn maybe the best, definitely better then Musang King only problem is very rare and only available in Penang. And if you need to ask the selling price then this fruit is not for you.

Haha.. The little Leon showed many expressions in his first encounter with stinky durians. He liked the bright yellow durian flesh by his curious looks but when he tried the pale milking white, he frowned a lot. He is cute 😁

Durian is one of my favorite fruits! I think it has one of the "riches" smells of all fruits. I would say it doesn't smell like rotten onions like most people say. It's just a rich smell

You know he’s a good man when he doesn’t like to haggle. That’s my Khmer father. My dad never haggle but my mom will haggle. Lol. 🙈 and durian is my mommas fav fruit. Especially as a dessert with sticky rice and sweet coconut sauce.
