- At the end of Prime Minister's Questions Angela Rayner asked Boris Johnson to correct the record, after he denied saying worries about inflation were "unfounded" (he had).
Johnson declined, instead choosing to get up, try and leave the chamber, and avoid answering her point of order. Unfortunately for the prime minister, he was due to immediately give a statement on the UK's pandemic response and, therefore, was ordered back to his seat by the Speaker.

Should never have been a referendum in the first place, should have had a minimum turn out requirement when it did happen and a minimum number of votes to pass. Far too complex of a decision for the general public to understand let alone take on and vote on, and far too divisive for the Country in the final result. Rayner needs to comment on these lies as they happen no at the end. It's pointless asking Johnson to retract his statements, but what she could have done is to restate that this fact exists and where and emphasise just how clueless Johnson is in getting it so wrong, yet again.

The problem with lying is it’s almost impossible to remember what you’ve said, when and to whom… it’s hardly surprising this clown come unstuck on an almost daily basis.
That's right..isn't the phrase something like...lying requires constant attention to what you have said whereas truth stands by itself and does not need to be constantly repeated...or something along those lines.

It's amazing that so many people are so blind. The Speaker ruled that this wasn't a 'point of order', so Johnson had no need to answer the question, and so he can't have been 'running away'.
The video description gives readers the impression that Johnson had to be restrained by the Speaker who was holding him accountable after he 'ran away' but in fact the Speaker just wanted him to stay because the next item on the agenda was the PM giving a statement on another subject.
