Boris tries to run away after lying, Speaker forces him to stay

  • At the end of Prime Minister's Questions Angela Rayner asked Boris Johnson to correct the record, after he denied saying worries about inflation were "unfounded" (he had).
    Johnson declined, instead choosing to get up, try and leave the chamber, and avoid answering her point of order. Unfortunately for the prime minister, he was due to immediately give a statement on the UK's pandemic response and, therefore, was ordered back to his seat by the Speaker.

Should never have been a referendum in the first place, should have had a minimum turn out requirement when it did happen and a minimum number of votes to pass. Far too complex of a decision for the general public to understand let alone take on and vote on, and far too divisive for the Country in the final result. Should have required a 75% vote for leave or remain from a larger number of people, in order for that to be followed through. Or abandoned. The only reason Boris won any election, was because of Brexit. Plain and simple.

      These politicians don’t mind locking people down and destroying their jobs and their lives, crushing small business into the ground and using an ever more militant police to enforce these rule while all the time ignoring these rules themselves. This virus has given governments worldwide the perfect opportunity to show their true colours and establish they are the ruling class and we are their plebs, people are starting to rise up and not only these rules but this growing attitude of contempt and disdain for the people. People worldwide need to vote out every single one of them that has gone along with this nonsense and treat them with the contempt they deserve.

    It's amazing that so many people are so blind. The Speaker ruled that this wasn't a 'point of order', so Johnson had no need to answer the question, and so he can't have been 'running away'.
    The video description gives readers the impression that Johnson had to be restrained by the Speaker who was holding him accountable after he 'ran away' but in fact the Speaker just wanted him to stay because the next item on the agenda was the PM giving a statement on another subject.

    People of England never forget? Is this not what they wanted? People of England need to educate themselves and any one who voted Brexit. You asked for this! What did you think consequence would be ?
    If you'd hear the lies when they campaigned you would never vote for this. Wisdom is not the same as knowledge But you need to have both to make a good decision.
    This is what happen when you make decision when one of these is absent.
