I think he was referring to Thiel and Trump when he misinterpreted (intentionally be my argument) what he sees as a thin skin as actually the opposite. Trump is a mirror.

It was framed the way it was and included in his initial speech to draw those who coddle and exploit illegals out in the open. They were in spades. The trouble is we have a corrupt Media (as seen by the backpeddling and attempts to label trump and avoid even following up on the claims) who then does what it is set-up to do, spew propaganda and attack those who would dare speak the truth. Jeff Bezos is on that team. He wants the naive to think the real issue is tiny men with thin skins, hardly.

He knows how to work the system for sure. He gets regulators to look the other way and then provides a centralized place for millions of small fry to offer their tarps of goods taking a cut along the way. Its another variation of the sell the gold miners the shovels deal.
I buy just about everything from Amazon. If Washington Post , Bezoz' paper, continues to blast Trump and his cabinet on behalf of DNC, I would not mind buying from local stores albeit slightly more cost and inconvenience.

Comparing Bezos to Peter Thiel as I go on a listening spree. Bezos is just boring and conventional. there's nothing he says that stuck with me.
Bezos just got lucky. He's nothing smart compared a lot of American Entrepreneurs today in terms of technical intelligence

The average medieval peasant worked no more than 25-30 hours a week on average. Homes were smaller than today and with larger families in it - firewood collection goes really quick when you have 10 people doing it.
They had periods of crunch during planting and harvest season, but most of the time life was very relaxed and the work they did would be walking up and down the fields and picking out weeds in leisure, feeding the animals or going down to the river to catch some fish for dinner. There's not that much to do most of the time except wait for crops to grow.

I can't believe he brought up their fulfillment centers. Those guys work in hellish sweat shops and are treated like animals. Don't believe me, just ask them.
Worked in two different fulfillment centers in Dallas. No problems with working conditions or how we were treated. Paid higher than any other entry-level, no-experience-needed job.

Free Speech is about keeping the government out. There is no law that says any free person has to listen to another at all. Discrimination is central to our Republic. The issue comes when speech is engaged with over infrastructure run by the government to the majority, like the wires of the internet. Over the airwaves managed by frequencies delegated by governing bodies. In those areas it is central the dissemination is unfettered in any way over such infrastructure. Thus it is really against the Constitution to curate content peddled as Speech with a political bent, left or right. There is no protection for one who stands in a public river and diverts water to tributaries they decide. If discourse in the USA was truly unfettered the Left would clearly lose most arguments. Most by the fact their plans involve unauthorized transfers of one's property in the form of money and taxes. Instead of an issue like Illegal Immigration being about separating families, it would be about how this illegal activity separates American Families from their money.
People like Jeff Bezos live or die to the degree they can manipulate the governing bodies to be good waiters for their capitalistic endeavors. Lawsuits for relief to such a person is a waste of time...instead, they use funds derived from manipulating the government to buy newspapers (public soapboxes) to then bash private people for using the law for a remedy against slanderous content producers.
