I'm thinking of running one of these with an AB and target painter, throw torps in and maybe use three medium webber drones to really hurt smaller targets. I hadn't considered using cap boosters though, will probably utilize that too, thanks. Cool to see other mission phoons
yep, been there, done that. :) one time messing with the lancers they called in their big brothers and suddenly my Gila wasn't really up to the task anymore. since then staying aligned out to something and not messing with anything that is a named Tyrannos works okay. still, entertaining video. thanks for sharing 7o
you could've probably taken the Lancers, i've fielded 3 of them in a Typhoon (in the test server though) and my skills ain't great. Apparantly the Lancers can call the Drifters though, so... also, that was pretty funny
I had to laugh there, thought he was safe then POP. Why wouldn't you use a Navy Raven, shield tank then full dps, or even shield the TFI, and go full dps.
The bounty, loot and salvage can add up, most missions drop 20+ million, some drop 50+ million. Drone missions are obviously amongst the worst, since Drone AI chips arent worth anything these days. MTU out right at the start to haul the wrecks in, then the salvage drones when the last NPC is dead - need a big hold or multiple trips back to a base though; a couple of 4 room mission sites, I can fill my Nestor in each room.
Unless you have a marauder or are blitzing burners the isk will not be great. I used an ishtar with an MTU and salvagers and would average around 45 m/h.
Zor does all the damage, you should take him out as soon as he appears; if you look, your reppers were winning the fight after he died. You can do this in a standard Drake if you take out the other ships as they appear - and not try to blitz. Random Dood
yeah, if you're killing the ships as they spawn in waves, this mission is silly easy. also, that was hilarious, you definitely need something in the heavier leagues to fight a drifter, lol
@@timothymulder8085 I think CCP might have boosted the Drifter dps, as I remember running into a guy hunting them in an Orthrus. It might be a case of too big and too slow though; maybe an MJD jump to range, and some speed might have given AceFace a chance.
I don't think the Autothysian Lancers do. I tanked three of them last week with a 2-week-old char in a Cyclone. I had to warp away once, but eventually took all three down. The ship had around 30k ehp and a T1 large shield boost. But if I'd watched this vid beforehand I wouldn't have gone near them lol!
