I played eve echoes at launch for 1 year and was vary active in a top corp and came back to eve a few months ago, and im completely lost. It's pretty rough for new players, and people give info but not helpful because there is so much to know that vets take for granted.

It's cool... but it would take a while to pay back the price of it xD The cargo doesn't matter if you mine in a fleet

I know you love eve and that is great. But for a newbie it is hard to know where to go and what to do. What skill do I invest in. What quests is for me. You are blind. Even before you start paying for playing, it is not easy to know what to do. Join a fraction or not. The game is so big and it is not easy getting started, without spending a lot of money. And that I would not recommend.

So ccp wants to make it cost plex to make custom skins AND make sequencing a new time sink on top of that ? Good luck with that...

Why on earth would you use the bay loading accelerator rig on a drone focused ship anyway? What a silly waste of isk and essentially 2 rig slots for a whopping 12 DPS gain. Drop that useless rig for a small core defense operational solidifier 1 and defense field extender, Then you can drop the pointless bling shield booster for a regular tech 2 booster. That gives this build slightly more shield boost, 10% more shield pool, makes it 100% cap stable and also makes it 20 million ISK cheaper. All for a 12 DPS loss. Better shield boost, 10% more shields, cap stable, 20% lower total cost. All for a loss of 12 DPS.

Maybe I'm the only person to ever ask this...or maybe everyone does...but how do you draw that line that then guides your ship's trajectory? That seems very useful for maintaining distance and transversal, especially in the abyss (where double-clicking in space becomes dangerous).

How do you go about even finding a wormhole corp. I've made some good loot in wormholes in the past...

I left null sec to join a wormhole corp.. I don't think it is worth it unless you are with a good corp.. the corp I'm in I can't really do anything in the whole . Data and relic sites you have to give to the corp.. the combat sites you don't make anything when ran by non Corp members with you and it is spent in shares. If you run 20 sites and you make 8 billion. Your share is only 400M 3 people are making over a billion. And if you so help structure bash you want get anything it all goes to the corp.. I just gave up on it and only run missions

This game looks cool how do I play it?

I used to live in Wh space for years... I left finally this year. Only thing that will bring me back to wh life is if CCP implements all the out of eve tools and resources to be in game. I don't have the patience to go out of game to use the tools to figure out wtf im doing in game.
