- Ramana Maharshi stayed in Virupaksha Cave from around 1902 until 1915, when he moved to Skandashram, further up the slopes of Arunachala. In this film I talk about the saint after whom the cave is named and narrate a few key stories from the years when this was Bhagavan's principal residence.

Thanks to God Arunachala siva to get access to day to day life of Sri Ramana Maharshi during his stay at the cave through the great devotee David .I wonder at David's crystal clear pronunciation of Sanskrit names and superb narration in sequential order .Thanks a lot Davidji. I visted this cave 3 days back . If I would have got access to this video before visiting the cave , I would have more enjoyed the trip.

+Venkat Raman Yes, Bhagavan commented on that as well. The original story came from Akhilandamma who was present when it happened. The president of Ramanasramam gave us permission to use any of the old photos in the archives. Many of them have never appeared in any published form before.
speaking of Photos ..if you need i can touch up any problems with photos if you like ... no cost of course.. been studying Ramana since 1974 .. finally visited ArunaChala Shiva in 1997... just let me know ...can fix damaged Photos free....

One can sense the depth of stillness that is in the cave only in person probably.

They do not exist. Aren't you looking for a shortcut? The path is only seen with the light of knowledge obtained by your own burning desire for self-knowledge. Otherwise even if you meet one, it would be of no avail!
@@markf2720 just because you cannot find them, doesn't mean that they don't exist. Rishikesh is a traditional hub of spirituality and many mahatmas exists there too.
