- Come along with Mark and me as we fly out to try a new line on the end of a peninsula that juts out into a lake. Definitely will be coming back here again. What a fun spot!

Another fantastic edited and seamless video that flows together. You do great job John! 😀👍
*Keep on flying!*
Awesome video, channels like yours are costing me a lot of money! My first lesson at Mach 5 is this Monday LOL
@@johnkluenker say when! Made my first Facebook page ever just to message you 👍🏻
You make me want to get a Kitfox! Awesome video, thank you for making it.
You’re welcome. Thanks for the comment! The Kitfox is definitely the most fun airplane I’ve ever owned or flown. 👍🏻
I always thought asphalt runway is must for landing a plane.
But this video changed my thought.
Thank-you, very much.
Wow, thy looks Close!!! on the first fly by! Have to touch water on Landing!! Oh Yeah! Nice Land on that first one!!! very cool!!
That was pretty ballsy putting the Kitfox down in that spot, well done!
Thanks!
Looks like a lot of fun!!! Used to catch a lot of Crappie there.
cool spot! that was fun!
Smart decision on your TO plan!
Kinda fun to see the Challenger out there because my first solo was in one of those.
Nice video John! Looks like a challenging spot.
@@johnkluenker Slowly! Between work and family it's tough finding time. Chipping away at it. It'll be done when it's done!
Tight!! What a fun day!
nice place, how long was the "runway" ? surely a matter of timing and getting the spot right for touch down...and yes, such small islands are mostly packed pennles underneath...👍and a thin dry soil of weeds/ reeds,,,,...
bcs it,s not marsh land , but rather pist glacial terraine...
Merry Christmas And Happy New Year Kifox Adventures !
Thanks, Frank! Merry Christmas, and a happy new year to you as well!
Great video. High pucker factor. Trying to figure out what left the big piles on the island.
Nice!
Thank you!
Miss you guy’s!!
See you this coming spring!
Sweet. Distance? How does crap get out there? Do cows wade through the water or something
Was that Salt Springs Reservoir??
To the man with the challenger, how are you keeping the sound of the motor noise out of your transmitting? I get a lot of noise when I transmit. What is your method?
Thanks
Mike
hellman@ i read sometjing about headsets in Kitplanes...he told s.th. about noise cancelling two way headsets, those have a second slot in the microphone on the oposite side( outwards) but dunno ask me how it was called...was kinda new some years back...normal headsets give the full noise notjust into the transmission but possibly also into your headphones..." noise cancelling" , the seller should know 💸💸💸💸💸💸
I have a CH II and found that with the doors off an electret style mic cover on my UFQ A28's works pretty darn well. With the doors on it's amazing. I route my audio through a Flightcom IIsx to boost levels out of my handheld which is set up for less resistance than an aviation headset.
One thing you absolutely NEED to do is swap to solid terminal spark plugs if you don't run them already. If you don't have those the arcing will cause the caps to wear away and the spark plugs will become disconnected in flight if there are bumps. The arcing also sends out massive interference that might completely hinder your ability to Tx/Rx. If you're unable to get noise out of your tramissions at idle on the ground, check the plug terminals.
What engine do you have in the Kitfox and your friend in the Challenger?
I have the Continental O-200 in the Kitfox and I believe Mark has the Rotax 503 in his Challenger.
What the hell left the piles of stuf out there? Isn't that an Island? Cool video though.
@@johnkluenker Yeah, or hit one that would be a bad day. I should have read the description. Where is that at? Looks like fun like the bush pilots in Alaska landing on the river banks!
