When we left Hawaii it was amazing how quickly most of my Aloha shirts lost their style on the mainland. LOL

Thank you so much for the comment! It really helps motivate me to keep making these videos so I really do appreciate that. Do you fly airlines right now?

@@johnkluenker Thanks for your respond. At the moment I'm doing my glider pilot license in France :D
Watching your videos keeps me motivated, because I'm really bored with school. But when I see one of your vid it reminds me my objective. I know it's going to take a while, probably a lot of money too but the benefits are uncountable. And you make some good contacts with people too which I really apreaciate !

@mouhamedbeladjimi7018 wonderful! Well, if you are learning to fly gliders, that will give you A fantastic feel for flying an airplane which will last your entire career. I never got my glider rating, but I always wish that I had. Definitely keep at it. I can’t imagine doing anything else. Looking forward to doing your job is an incredible feeling. And then to get paid for it doesn’t even make sense! Just keep making effort every day and every week and eventually you will find yourself getting paid to fly. It is a pretty awesome feeling!

Hi John I fly the Tempest Flight started flying that Citation X (Frist X type) beginning of the year after flying falcon 900. and lear 60, but the crosswind landings on final on this video, wondering if you could talk through the final 200 feet of the landing on your CZcams what you doing with rudder? and aileron combination Thanks for your feedback. can you add voice to this CZcams as you're doing it. explaining it. Thanks again.

Thank you for the comment. I have been meaning to do a video that goes through exactly that. I just have not found the time to get around to it. I appreciate the motivation!

@jakebeile that’s a simple solution rather than making an entirely new video. I like the idea! I’ll try to work on that this week.

Just Like Landing On " Tetanus" John! Very Cool Landing!!! Maybe On one of your Vids, For Us " Want to be flyers" Explain A Little on the " Descent" ? Like Flaps positioning vs. Speed ? That would be Appreciated!!! I''ll Keep Watching! Getting to Fly Again From N.Y. to CO. in a week and a half to see New Grand Daughter!!

That’s wonderful news! Congratulations! Well for reference, we typically extend slats and flaps 5 degrees less than 250 knots (idle thrust) within a few minutes of reaching the final approach fix. At 210 knots it’s flaps 15 and gear down. Half a dot prior to glide slope intercept select flaps 35 degrees at 180 knots or less. Approach to final speed is between 115 and 140 knots depending on landing weight. Hope that helps!

@@johnkluenker Thank You John! Appreciate that! And Landing? I can Google the terminologies im not sure on ! L.o.l. ! But I think I get it.... Less Speed, more flap angle....... Thank you for the detailed response!
