Part 1 Video: • Built In Shelves Part ...
This is part 2 of my custom built in shelving build. This section is built using the offcuts from the larger shelving build and face framed with poplar. I built these in my basement after having to demo the previous shelving in order to do some insulation work. This video covers the narrow section in front of a drain pipe. This section will be removable in the event we need to access the pipe for any sort of maintenance. I also left the top unattached so that we can slide it open to let warm air flow up behind the shelves as their are a couple of water pipes and and it is an exterior wall that can get pretty cold in the winter when temps drop below freezing.
Thanks for watching. If you have any comments or questions please leave them below or hit me up on social media, email, or my website.

You do excellent work. I suggest you slow down the film for the more technical operations and do a voice over explaining them. You have a good amount of skill to show off and share.

Thanks for the feedback. I have considered some voice over but it’s challenging to get good audio on my low budget. Everything is recorded using my phone at this point...no fancy equipment...maybe someday though! Thanks for watching! 👍🏻

Thanks for the great video! It turned out looking great. Check out Next Level Carpentry for tips on pre-assembly layout and measuring the avoid those frustrating off-angle and misaligned joints. It really helped me to see how frequently a master carpenter / woodworker checked alignment and course corrected before ever picking up screw or nail.
