    Maybe not the most famous Ferrari, probably the most beautiful.

    Most beautiful Ferrari of them all.

    a slice of italian life of that period: owners of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati use to join at Bologna Autostrada A1 gate (pay toll motorway with no speed limits, at that time), competitive race to Florence (45 miles) just to bet an espresso tiny cup.
    In the meantime Dean Martin was playing his Dean Martin Show in Las Vegas, with his true italian glam. Or when Ford Motor Company managers tried unsuccessfully to buy Ferrari some years before Ferrari P4 won 1-2-3 in Daytona (1967)....! Signor Enzo Ferrari threw them off his office in Maranello without even opening the door. what a kind of stories!
    Maserati Sebring, Ferrari Superfast, Ferrari Daytona, Ferrari California, Ferrari Superamerica: all tributes to the United States!
    This Ferrari 250 Lusso seems to be truly evocative of that era. Ciao

    A very cool, understated and elegant car, a gentleman's Ferrari.

    Great job Colleen. I always look forward to your videos. I'm a new subscriber and sometimes I'll see videos pop up on my suggestion list that I've never seen before. One thing I know for sure is the production quality will be amazing and I'll learn a lot.

    Beautiful! That must have seemed like something out of the distant future in 1963.

    Timelessly beautiful cars these. But despite what you say the engine was not 'pushed forward' to give more cabin space. If you look from the side you will see that the V12 is mounted behind the front axle line, the definition of front mid-engined. The space in the cabin comes from it being a strict 2-seater.

    This car is ahead of its times. It’s speedometer is on the middle dash just like some cars today 😂.

  • @guitarscientist9386
    @guitarscientist9386 Před 3 lety

    I kinda like the idea of the speedometer being to the right like that. I imagine its not blocked by the steering wheel or your arm if you are driving with one hand on the wheel. Just glance down and to the right and there it is.

    The most beautiful Ferrari is IMO the 250 California, but the 250 Lusso is a really close 2nd. :)

    Gas cap missing? just inside the trunk, as in the Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider. Pininfarina design for both, same age. Once I have forgotten the key inside! non easy to go home and get the double. wiper water & high beam? pedals on the high left side.

    • @FerrarisOnline
      @FerrarisOnline  Před 4 lety

      I never even though of that... i would definatly be placing my keys in the trunk regularly and accidently closing it. Guess i would just leave them in the ignition while i pump. Cant lose them then.

    most of the Ferrari tributes should be also shared between Pininfarina and Scaglietti. other two italian brains.....

    0-60 mph in just over 7 seconds is good for an elegant sports car. For a sh*t-box muscle car, its laughable.
