In this episode of Game Breakers we take a look at glitches in Pokemon X and Y. I'm finally getting to cover a 3DS game, and I'm happy this is the one I started with. Kalos Region is packed full of glitches so enjoy!

The first game I really grinded in
In my first run i grinded wild pokemon for about a week straight and got all of my mons to level 80 before the champion. I swept the champion with my greninja.
I don't remember if I really grinded or not. Manly uses that Cafe in lumiose city

The only time I had to grind was for valerie's gym cause like over half of my pokemon were weak to fairy
4:07 THE HOLY BOX
With the Drasna Aura Sphere glitch, the black bar is actually a railing around the battlefield. When the aura sphere move is used the camera pans around the Pokemon, a yellow background texture appears behind the target, and environmental geometry dissapears. When the animation comes to an end, the geometry pops back in before the yellow texture goes away and the camera goes back to normal.
The reason it only affects Druddigon and Dragalge is because those Pokemon are the biggest ones she has, so the camera moves out further (beyond the railing) to fit them comfortably in frame.
Ah that makes sense! I kinda assumed it was due to the large hitbox, but still wasn't even sure what was happening
I REMEMBER THE LUMIOUSE GLITCH! It happened to me and I just deleted my save file because I had no idea how it happened and why some textures were missing.
Is it just me, or does Geosenge town give me way too much nostalgia for gen 6 and 5?

But dude, this was a treat. Gotta have to agree that the leftovers glitch is prolly my fave here, but your little segment on the game breaking (hehe) glitch was WILD to me. Hope you were lucky enough to avoid that one! 😄

X&Y were my first Pokémon games and also my favorite

Kinda a year late but theres this one glitch I encountered on my first playthrough of the game where I was stuck fighting the elite four over and over again because for some reason it never counted me beating any of em and every battle was my "first". I either lost the game card or reset, cant remember which one.
*I noticed the Flabebe cry thing. It was confusing.*
*also, for some reason, Moltres’ animation is kinda laggy for me. Has this happened to anybody else?*
The Moltres lag is normal search up on CZcams what is the laggiest 3ds Pokemon game
Pokemon Y was my first ever Pokemon game and it wasn’t exactly the best game in existence but I still enjoyed it and I still have a fondness for the kalos region. (Still waiting on Pokemon Z)

It baffles me how they failed to notice the Lumiose Glitch.
Like none of the testers saved and reloaded in Lumiose's South Boulevard.

I have an idea for the level graphical glitch.
Have an pokemon level up while the move is used (as shown in the video, Dig, Fly, Dive, I think Sky Drop, U-turn, Volt Switch...) is used (gaining more HP values) and have it get hurt by something like a Sticky Barb, essentially falling below the displayed HP but still above the actual HP it has. What would happen? Maybe a mess of glitchy negative numbers (cof cof gen1), or maybe your pokemon would be kept alive?
There are move glitches to. I had a pikachu's electric moves be super effective against a Hawlucha then not be in the same battle
There's another major glitch happening how!!! The GTS is broken full of legendaries and illegal mons!!!

I have gotten the saving in lumiose city glitch, but didnt know there was a patch for it, so i deleted the game off my pc.. (i use citra btw, dont own a 3ds)

@@makavelithedon6656 i just download my stuff off of some place called Ziperto.. but i reccomend getting an adblocker for chrome and at least having an antivirus on your pc, and of course to be careful in general

the super training glitch also works in ORAS but the area nav aslo works
I have a question. When i played the game the first time i got into a battle in Santalune forest but it had a lumiose city background and not the Forest background you normally get.
Did this happen to anybody to?

Oh, you must not have found the monochrome furfrou yet.
They're egg moves, just breed bidoof with Palkia, Dialga, Articuno and Darkrai.

What you really gotta do requires a non-PAL version of x or y, (either one will do) without any updates and having the language set to French. First you gotta find a monochrome furfrou, which look nearly identical, except the coloring is all messed up so they have no colors besides grey and white. Monochrome pokemon are rarer than shinies and can only be found in versions 1.0-1.2. Once you finally have one DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR GAME. Turning your game off will cancel the monochrome coloring and ruin the event until you can get a new mono-furfrou.
That was the hard part. With the grey furfrou in hand, go to the Lumiose City Hairdresser. When you walk in, you get a small cutscene where she acts shocked and urges you to go to Geosenge Town, where she gives you a key. Using this key on one of the flipped houses brings you to a strange room with an mystic old man. If you have all 18 plates, they magically fly in a circle on the ground, spin for a while, arceus's ring appears, and an egg appears. Out of this egg will hatch a bidoof knowing all those moves. These moves are egg moves to bidoof, which is why he has more than one of them.

Does anyone else know about the daycare guy not turning around when he has your eggs? I've been able to get this to happen multiple times but I don't know why? At first I thought it was me just not taking enough steps to generate an egg but if I check the man turns around and gives me the egg. What's going on when this happens?
Ive had this one happen. I'll do some looking into it, I have some theories based off my memory of when it happened while I was hunting for shiny Eevees through the masuda method.
Is that just my game? Most of the time my game crashes when its supposed to start a supertraining
Those are super minor glitches, but funny nonetheless
Just why, my game runs more than 60 fps but when I open Pokédex, it reaches 0!!

Hey maybe someone here can help me i have a glitch on citra with pokemon y right before u get the legendaries when u go down in the team flare base and this big guy dont know his name is in this prison cell my game just stops working like music is still there but u have a blackscreen (sry for the bad english its not my main language)
I'm having 2 problems, first is when i'm going to battle with my charmander, or fighting against Weezing, Toarkal, the video stops, or crash my game, when i'm going to change clothes is the same, the sound still works fine, but the image freezes, i had this problem in both X and Y. Is anyone having the same problem? And if do so, you guys know how to fix it? I have to reset my game every time this happen.
I love these games! They are probably my favorite (that or Soul Silver) I have good memories playing these games with my sister.
I'm a big fan on X and Y too! and I loved Soul Silver mainly because you got to have a pokemon walk around with you!
It isn't Mario Sunshine but I'll watch it.

Is it just me but my roller skates never came on which means i cant beat the 3rd gym so i cant get mega ring
Just got this now, i changed my battle bgs and then my honedge's texture is messed up also the Pokemon i encountered which is illumise also got messed up, but i reseted the game and i tried to change the bgs again and now nothing happened.
Update: got it again but the real reason was if I encounter an Illumise, the glitch occurs.

I'm playing Pokémon X in android ..the glitch on android is a certain Pokémon body colour is white like frokie,goodra,dragalge and more😭

Thats a glitch that was found in the early days of X and Y, I think it's been patched, so you could probably fix it by downloading said patch.

I'm gonna be honest, a lot of the facts here aren't that interesting. when I hear that a game is "packed full of glitches" I expect to see a lot of game breaking and funny glitches, I can't help but be let down when most of the glitches in this video are the wrong text box appearing or the wrong sound effect playing. sure those glitches are cool and all but when most of the video is just those minor glitches it's just underwhelming. next time I suggest trying to have 2 or 3 of those minor glitches inbetween some big glitches if you're able to
yea I get what you're saying, some games just don't have as many crazy glitches as others, but I still wanted to cover this game regardless. I agree I could've spaced out the glitches better with major and minor ones
@@CWillyHD With no patch in this game, there are a few game breaking glitches, such as one where there are colorless models.
