    • @Benzblogger
      @Benzblogger  Před 5 lety +1

      It will be the volume car for us. We have a 4 cylinder in the C, E and GLC that all sell very well. It is as much torque as the old V6 engines and has a better transmission. Of course, there will be hold-outs and then can spend the extra $4000 for the 6-cylinder.

    • @Benzblogger
      @Benzblogger  Před 5 lety

      Glad my video was helpful. Does your car have the tow hitch? If so then the kick sensors are set off to either side of it. If not then the sensor is dead center. In and out, no wiggling about. Takes about half a second to move after you do the kick. As far as I know there is no way to enable to disable it.

    • @Dejesusluis87
      @Dejesusluis87 Před 5 lety

      Thank you!! I will call the dealership to remove the hitch in case it is hindering its ability to work. I love the car , however I feel like the transmission could very jerky around town, the headlights point too downwards at night, the headliner rattles and the front subwoofers make the footrest unbearable to use due to the bass vibration. I am in love with the car, and I hate complaining in general, but I will swallow my pride for an almost $70k car. Thank You for this Video, there is very little information on the GL, specially the 350.

    My wife has a 2017 GLE 43, there's no way I'll get a 4 cylinder. I think Mercedes made a mistake here at least on the GLE, the GLC or GLA sure if that's what you like. The Mercedes V-6 is a very proven engine, I even have my doubts about the inline-6 on the GLE 450. So unless Mercedes offers a proven engine .. I'll have to wait and see.

    • @pomo2617
      @pomo2617 Před 5 lety +1

      The new 4 cylinder is actually quite good. It runs very smooth and offers a good economy and the GLE is a german car and a good economy is very important in Germany especially in Europe, because petrol is very expensive here and that is why all the car brands are trying to improve their engines (downsizing). And trust me, an inline-6, especially one from Mercedes is an awesome engine, but a big SUV like the GLE shouldn't get a 4 cylinder, especially if it is called a 350.

    • @DJaquithFL
      @DJaquithFL Před 5 lety +1

      @@pomo2617 .. I live in Florida. The GLE is assembled in Tuscaloosa .. so the Germans need to keep their 4-cylinders in their backyard, ship the old V-6 here. I'm not a fan of inline-6's either based upon my experience with Mercedes of past. I rather be charged to gas guzzlers tax and be done with it.

    used to be a big MB fan but this giant screen has no design or taste. and the fact that mercedes uses pretty much the same dash design on all her cars makes it silly to buy.
    what are you paying for, when they don't design anything into a car? a C is smaller S ?!?
    the dials are all replaced with ipad screens. so why pay so much $ ? no personality. all dull and dumb down version.
    MB classes used to be designed specifically different from each other and you could touch and feel the difference. I have an ipad, i don't need my car to look like an ipad... sorry but the interior is very ugly.
