I think it bears repeating that the building itself is the tallest in NYC out of Manhattan. That, I think, is an accolade itself, so those who participated in having the erection of the building come to fruition (e.g., civil engineers, architects) deserve a pat on the back, no questions asked!
I also think that this building can honestly give both the Burj Khalifa and Taipei 101 a run for its money! As for One World Trade, let's just say that it deserves its place in Manhattan just as this building deserves its place in Brooklyn. The same can be said for the Central Park Tower, 30 Hudson Yards, the ESB, etc., in terms of their place in Manhattan. It can also be said that, soon, Brooklyn itself will give Manhattan a run for its money in terms of tall skyscrapers, so that's something residents of Brooklyn ought to be proud about!
OMG!! I REMEMBER SOME 30 YRS AGO BANKING AT "THE DIME" AS WE USED 2 CALL IT WHEN IT WAS RIGHT NEXT DOOR 2 A 3 STORY INDOOR MALL; 1 OF THE RELATELY FEW IN NYC AT THE TIME WOW BKLYN MUST B BOOMING!😮😅😊
We need sky bridges and that underground everyone metioned at that one worlds fair with the ufos
If was to move into a building that looks like Sauron’s tower on the outside, I would want the condos inside to not look like the inside of a DMV.
geesh, it sounds like realtor sales pitch..............
So I see they're still building glass boxes that look in most ways like a giant version of a 1963 World's Fair pavilion, and calling them "modern". Kudos on the preservation of the bank though.
Can you please indicate heights in meters? A building doesn't have feet...😂
needlessly overdramatic voiceover, stopped watching...
