Peak District Walks: Luds Church and The Roaches

- This is my first time to the Staffordshire Peaks and it is truly spectacular! The Roaches and Luds Church are two famous landmarks of the area, with Luds Church being a natural chasm formed by a landslip thousands of years ago and The Roaches is a natural gritstone escarpment.
This circular walk takes in both of these features and absorbs the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and countryside.

I did this a few weeks ago for the e first time..luds church, the roaches and hen cloud..it was super early in the morning, very grey and wet but just as beautiful…can’t wait to go back on a clear day 😁
