Today we will be discussing one of my favourite two tone combinations in this Daytona from the year 2000, featuring a steel and yellow gold two-tone with a stunning and matching silver dial. In fact the silver dial is one of the most rare dial colours in an era where champagne and black dials dominated the market. This five digit Daytona is also famous for its zenith based 4030 movement and highly sought after by vintage Rolex collectors.

I think this is a gorgeous watch. I have an opportunity to buy one but I’m worried about it holding its value. I have a stainless and black that keep increasing in value. What do you think about value of two tone?
Rolexes will always hold a certain level of value. Although two tone generally less value retentive than steel ones, I would not pass on one that you like, especially if it is a more rare dial in good condition. Hope that helps!👍
