Hi Jeannette, I am thrilled you like this quilt , it is fun to make.
Enjoy Pauline
I don't think I have seen your video's before, but I absolutely love the way you teach and demonstrate. This Butterflies Quilt is absolutely beautiful. I have watched lots of quilting videos, I really like your process.
Thank you so much Eugenia , so glad you enjoyed it. Yes the Dance of the Butterfly quilt is fun to make and looks stunning in any fabrics.
Enjoy, Pauline
Beautiful quilt & great tutorial Pauline. Thank you
You are so welcome!
Thank, you another informative tutorial that helps others build their skill set!
Glad to help!
Pauline, love your tutorials, products and this Quilt. Did you do the applique on top fabric first? Because the quilting outlines the shapes so well.
Yes I did, I usually do the quilting first but thought this one it best to do some outline quilting once the applique was finished.

So pleased I purchased the sasher tools. Lovely Quilt and you have done a wonderful job explaining the process. One question have you overlocked the raw edge to get the nice finish. Have often thought of doing so but didn’t know if you could when making quilts.
Hi Marlene, I am so happy you found the video and have enjoyed watching, I loved designing and making this quilt.
I don't normally overlock the edges but as I cart samples all around the world I do overlock to protect the sample.
I do not overlock the edges when I am making a quilt as it adds to much extra bulk, it's only on samples.
Keep enjoying and watch out for more videos as I have lots more coming.
Have fun creating Pauline
Pauline, The sashing tools would be great to have but I don't have the extra funds to buy them. Would it work if I make it out of cardboard?
Hi Wendy, I am so happy you are enjoying my videos. I get so much joy and pleasure doing them.
I really don't know that cardboard would work for folding and pressing the fabrics like the Sashers do. I think there is no harm to give it a try.
Good luck. Pauline
