Very well done, man. I just ordered mine after finding and watching your videos and plan on more or less the same thing, of course my own design. I like what you did with the oil paint, I’ll have to start doing that effect. I plan on making a video for it as well and I’ll credit you for the idea.
Glad I could help and yeah oil paints are the best for that as it drys slow gives you plenty of time to work with and they oily finish looks great

I'm in the process of modding my Xcoser bucket. Tackling the visor right now. Like you mentioned, I did a base coat and then used the toothpaste method for paint chips. Good work yo!

What grit sandpaper did you use on the helmet? Does the grit matter?

Awesome job on the helmet, just wondering what grit did you use for the sanding?
Don't think I used sand paper in this video but I did sand down some of the raised logos I used 180 grit and worked myself up with sanding sponges

Emile casts are pretty costly, maybe in the future when i can invest a bit more into youtube

Hey. Fantastic helmet replica. I’ve done the assault rifle conversion but what do you use to get the logos onto the gun / helmet ? Like the unsc logo for example. Do you use stickers , decals or water transfers ? I’m also in the Uk so I’m trying to find something to use for those

Just ordered one! Can you show how to replace the visor for a paintball one or a polarized anti flash one like it says on the website. So far I haven’t been able to find a ODST visor for sale, even on etzy

Two Penny Props I found the helmet before I found your video. But if you leave a link to the materials needed to replace the visor I will definitely use those.

Rustoleum Gun metal, the can looks different depending where you are from but its all the same colour :)

I bought two of these off eBay and they were £30 each as there is two cracks on the bottom edge near the front, very easy fix though.
Probably why they where £30 ha well easy fix then you for yourself s bargain
