Croydon: How It Is - November 2022

For the last two years I have visited Croydon Town Centre and made videos to capture how the town is at a point in time. This is the 2022 version, where I used the Croydon Market Town route, part of the Croydon Heritage Walk series - links on this page:

I have lived in Croydon all of my life and it used to be the place to go for shopping, bars, restaurants etc. It has been hit hard by the lack of progress of the proposed Westfield Development and hit harder again by the Council being declared bankrupt and needing government assistance to balance the financial books.
There is a lot of housing development underway, and as I highlight here Croydon has a lot of visible links to its past on show too.
