This will do nothing. I also love how the reporter tries to insinuate that cannabis is only a concern nowadays in high-schools??? I'd argue that even the most stoned students (without phones) have a much better chance of actually learning anything compared to sober kids (who aren't stoned) with cell phones. I went to HS from 1996-2000 (before cell phones existed).. and yes many stoners would get ripped at lunch or on breaks but they still managed to get passing grades. This was back when teachers would fail kids for poor grades (something that doesn't happen anymore apparently) 😅

And how many students would become more focused on the teacher and not be thinking about their cell phones and vapes banned in the classroom? This issue has surpassed any legitimacy on education because the parents who were enabled by their parents are now enabling their own children because the parents have no concept of the real world because the parents can't stop looking at their phones long enough to talk to their children..

Children these days demand respect without having any respect for others and themselves.
It may be a much better solution to immediately expel students who don’t know how to cooperate instead of forcing education on those kids.
Should Canada allow Child Labour for those “special” type of children who believe that they’re better off working, making money, paying for their own food, their own rent, and paying taxes instead of being infuriated by being forced to follow the rules in exchange for having free education as kids.
