With the o2 sensor so far back in the exhaust system you're probably getting 3km/l in town hey..? And MUCH better at highway speeds... The ECU can not adjust timing and fuelling with an exhaust gas sample taken from so far away. the throttle position and load changes massively between gears. You will also see different airfuel ratios through the length of the pipe at different times...basically the ecu adjusts for conditions that have happened too long ago. MOVE that o2 sensor to the nearest place to the engine, as close to the collector.
just get a reciprocating saw and cut infront of all the mufflers, and after pulling out the back end with all the different mufflers. turn it over and it should be basically like a straight piped v8. but just muffler delete.

dude sure you can.you can always make stuff work .i have a mazda b2000 with a toyota 3sge beams and 6 speed box it wasent really hard but we made it fit and run in 2 weeks.will also post a video of the truck soon
Van Rhyn du Plessis oh! you're back welcome man I've been doing a lots of research can you plz make in depth video about 89 hilux for example what left kit you have & what tire & weel size is the thing is engine stuff are very expensive im gonna go with simple stuff like matt paint job A/T tires with similar 6 lug weels & other cool stuff just give my 2wd that off road look similar to yours it's stock & with beautiful off road look well my friend hope you have a wonderful day lol i hope you don't mind me taking some inspiration from your truck to build my 2wd 88 Mitsubishi will that's all stay safe:) man
