  • This video was made with my 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz for removing the front bumper assembly and installing front grill screens. The Santa Cruz along with many other manufacturers have large grill openings that can allow rocks and other road debris to puncture the radiator and/or AC condenser. Those repairs are not covered under the manufacturers warranty as they are considered road hazards. You can post any questions you may have here. Please like and subscribe to my CZcams channel if the video was helpful. The front grill screens were purchased from:

Thanks for the video, this step by step takes the guesswork out, can probably pull the bumper off in about 20 minutes now knowing where everything’s at.

great video- i liked how you shown it step by step.
i am not sure i am comfortable doing this, if i went to a body shop what do you think a professional time would be to do this?

I think most body chops are like auto shops. They charge book time and if the actual time is less, that's how they make money because they have overhead, salaries, workers comp, utilities, and other expenses as a business. The book rate varies depending on where you live. I'm guessing that the book time to remove the front bumper assembly is 1.25 hours and another 1.25 hours to put it back together. So 2.5 hours labor and then the labor to zip tie the 2 screens. Body shops use an estimating software program.
