The library I work at has several Spazz albums free to stream and download, so it seems libraries have a long history with this band. Also, this set is righteous!
Droppin’ Many Ravers 2:48 Doo Doo Man 3:24 Egg on the Hirax Cover 3:58 R.T.S. 6:07 Lethal 7:01 Thrice The Heiney 7:17 Kiss of the Sasquatch 8:56 Hot Dog Water Popsicle in the Hands of Eric Wood 9:18 Problems in the Homeland 9:33 Dan Lifting Banner 10:43 WWF Rematch at the Cow Palace 12:43 An Urban Outfield 13:47 Loach 14:05
I had a job to cover them for my radio station and I had the dubious protection of near the camera in a corner to not get hurt. I slammed in other shows when it was true punk music , when Thrash was its own thing- I had to lay low.
I was at this party. I was so embarrassed. To me The Spazz were just so phony. Liars and thieves. I don’t expect them to be anything but sinners lol but I watched so many atrocities happening in their shows that it was just/ a band to be sociopathic and psychopathic to. I was allergic to Spazz.
3:51 dude if I`m in the floor and you hit me like that, that can´t end good. I mean, that is hardcore, NYC, 90's, but look at that move, guy is in the floor you can´t brutally throw yourself at him, not matter how many drug / joints you have done, or if it powerviolence, you can´t just hit somebody like that and keep on. One time I was in a under fest and somebody in the mosh was just punching other people in the mouth. He ended up hiding behind two people while another threatened to stab him if he refused to fight hand to hand.
They all know each other.. the ones actually moving nobody got hurt and if someone did I guaranteed spazz would’ve stopped the show after least to prevent that shit . I remember seeing tham in Anaheim around 96-97 and the threatened to stop the show if the “kids” didn’t stop smoking weed . I thought it was wack at the time seeing I was one of the kids smoking but looking back it was an all ages venue that could’ve easily gotten shut down ! They were just looking out cause there really wasn’t that many places to play in OC back then especially all ages!!! CRUSH KILL DESTROY 🤘🤘 🛹
