If it weren't for Chris and his prompt replies to my emails I probably would have passed this company but (but that's not the case). 14.6" barrel and the suppressor will be here next week. These guys are getting my money for everything I need for the 2240 I gifted myself. What a great crew !

Both the optic rail mounts and the suppressor are great products. The rails are a huge improvement from the aluminum products I have used in the past and the suppressor works better than advertised. Props!

The results are in! It's a night and day difference. Its over 60- 70% quieter! No cracking sound from the shot anymore! Great silencer! Exactly what I wanted! An extremely light weight silencer that works. No change of zero for me after install!

Awesome just ordered silencer and the mounts . Can't wait for it to get here To try it out . Squirrels are out of control . Hopefully I'll keep the noise down so the neighbors don't get uptight .
Mine works great Terry! I hear the action of the 2240 and the pellet hitting the target but that's it!! Works great fits great, makes it look better too!! I have 3 of them now, one on my 2240 w/24" barrell, and one on each of my modded 1377s converted to .22 cal. 14.5" barrels and the silencer is great on all 3. It allows for indoor shooting. Great price for a great product!!

Follow up, just got it and tried it out. Your video didn't do it the justice I saw in person. Made huge difference in sound and its now totally reasonable in my backyard. Was skeptical but paid off
Bought one for my 1377 and one for my 1322 quiets them down a whole lot and I'm very pleased. If you can come up with some suppressors for the break barrel Benjamin .177 and .22 air rifles,I'd be a happy camper. You have great products !!

Now I need a silencer!
Just recieved mine! Wow! Extremely light weight! 3D printed with baffles inside! I blew air through and you can feel the baffle system working!! Awesome product. I may grind the sight post off tho, for a sleek look. Loving it!! About to test it out

Just received and installed mine Terry mate! Finally something rock solid for my optics. Seriously rock solid. And the suppressor is awesome, and CHEAP! Usually I would have to get one at TKO, but they are quite expensive. Plus Buck-Rail 2240 suppressors come with a front sight, which is just perfect man! I have a Crosman 2240 PCP conversion kit on it with this silencer hold up to it without shattering I'm pumping over 780 ft per second with a 14-in barrel.
I would think so. They definitely don't shatter when they break though. It just breaks between layers and falls on the ground in front of you. I use the same material and general design for airguns that put out over 600 FPE. If you get one and it breaks we replace or refund without question.
I have some of your scope mounts on the way. My 2250 Ratcatcher also needs one of these as well.
I honestly didn’t know about the 2250. It looks like it would be the same since it has the cap at the end of the barrel. I’ll send you one tomorrow. Let me know how it works out!
Although the noise reduction is quite noticeable, but is it possible to reduce it some more. In today's day and age, people are becoming more paranoid with the sounds of gunfire, and any sound at all will catch their attention. Thank you.

I had a hard time telling the std from the moderated version cuz of the steel plates.
Maybe shoot onto a bag of sand or old clothes. Might make it a lot quieter J.M.H.O.

I installed this on my 2240 and it works much better than I expected, amazing product, 100% satisfied I have a Crosman Vantage Model 82 NP .22 rifle and it needs one of these... I was wondering if you have these for the Vantage 82. same type of front site with the "flat" but barrel is slightly larger diameter... I see you have others for various Crosman rifles are any of those compatible with the 82 ???

I like the look and the lightness love this moderator but the only thing that upset me is how inaccurate it made my gun. My 2289 shoots half-dollar groups but when I put the moderator on my shots are about a cantaloupe size grouping

Hello do you guys make suppressors for the crosman legacy 1000?
Terry, when will the suppressor the 1322 going to be ready? I missed the the last day (a week ago) when they came up for sale (a day early) and sold out immediately. It's been a week and I don't see them yet.
Is this for real? The suppressed shot sounded as loud or louder that un-suppressed.
Definitely a hoax. A mass manipulation experiment. I’ve gotten away with it so far, but then I tried it on Joe. That’s where I went wrong. I guess it’s time to find a new profession… Thanks Joe.

I've just fitted a silencer adaptor to my 2240 and a silencer. However the adaptor won't allow the cartridges to be out in and out. It was advertised as a 2240 silencer adaptor.
I’m sorry to hear that. Have you contacted the folks you got it from? Maybe you can slide it out a little bit before tightening the set screws.
@@BuckRailAirguns i have moved it forwards a touch but its now only held on with one grub screw. I might just cut it down if it gets in the way

Hey Terry, I ordered it, and it just came today.
I put about 30 pellets through it and I must say that it definitely makes a difference.
The sound level is noticeably "softer".
The only issue that I am having is holding zero.
I had my 1322 pretty much dead on @ 50 feet.
I expected the zero to change when I put your product on, but I cant get a consistent grouping.
Have you had any similar issues?
I'm not complaining! The thing only cost $16 bucks, works as advertised, and looks very cool!

No problem. I’m happy to help. We need to shoot quieter and straight! You can drill out the last baffle(or the last two) to a slightly larger diameter until you get the result you’re looking for. There will be a slight trade off in report reduction. If it doesn’t work out I can send you a replacement or refund you. Sometimes it’s just not a match for reasons I don’t understand. Good News, the drilling did the trick!
I had to drill all the way through (going at it from both ends) and then washing out the muffler with hot water to get the fillings out, but it worked! It didn't reduce the effectiveness of the muffler by any noticeable degree. Thanks for the advice!
What size drill bit did you use?
@@ironmikelaw I'll have to get back to you tomorrow on that, but it was just a "tad bit" wider than the existing hole. I didn't need to widen it by very much!
What kind of sight did you add to the 2240
Hello. I like an open glass reflex for the 2240. They can be mounted with aftermarket scope mounts or on a steel breech (the better way to go).
For iron sights with a suppressor I added an option to this suppressor that includes a front sight post that can be used with the OEM rear sight. That can be found here: buck-rail.com/product/crosman-2240-silencer/

Carlos, the 2240XL has a 1/2-20 UNF threaded muzzle. I make a suppressor for that airgun.

Is anyone else having an accuracy issue with these things after installing them? My guns shoot quarer-sized groups at 50 yards but after installing these my shots are everywhere I take them back off and my shots go right back where they should this is the second one that has done this to me and probably be the last one I buy.
Are you trying different pellets or the same ones? I got a different airgun that has a suppressor and it hates H&N Terminators when I use the suppressor, but when I dont, it groups perfect.
I had the same issue with a silencer from a different seller. I have found that the pellet is catching the edge of the hole as it comes out of the silencer and clipping part of the pellet off and making the pellet fly sideways. It will probably need to be put on a lathe and have the center hole enlarged. The silencer that I got from someone else if you spin it it looks like a banana.

Do the surpressor increase the velocity?
I have had some big bore suppressors do that, but don't see any appreciable difference in velocity with any of our smaller caliber suppressors.
Very disappointed with this moderator, i installed it on my 2240 with 10in. Barrel, worked great for about 20 or so shots, than it literally blew up into 3 or 4 pieces, all plastic parts flying everywhere, not good !

These things don't grenade apart and send shrapnel into people's faces, but they do break at the layer lines occasionally and cause frowny faces. 3d printing allows me to make a lot of awesome stuff on the fly, but it does have it's faults.
