TM HK45 and USP Compact Upgrade Final Thoughts - Airsoft with Azrel

- The followup to the series covering upgrades of the Airsoft Tokyo Marui HK45 and the Tokyo Marui USP Compact. I will discuss some of the issues and how I resolved them in the HK45 build and discuss the performance of both the HK45 and USP Compact after the upgrades. Over the course of the HK45 series we have installed the following:
* HK45 120mm Maple Leaf Crazy Jet GBB Barrel
* 50A Degree Flamingo Bucking
* Laylax Nine Ball HK45 Hammer Spring
* Laylax Nine Ball Dyna Piston Head (Wide)
* RA-Tech Outer Barrel for HK45 (14 mm CCW)
* Detonator Custom Slide for HK45 (Black)
* Guarder Enhanced Nozzle for Tokyo Marui HK45
* Laylax Nine Ball HK45 Teflon Recoil Spring
Over the course of the USP Compact series we installed the following:
* 91mm Maple Leaf Crazy Jet GBB Barrel
* 50 Degree Maple Leaf Autobot Bucking
* Laylax Nine Ball Dyna Piston Head (Wide)
* RCC 70% and 130% Hammer Spring
* RCC 70% and 130% Recoil Spring
* Detonator Outer Barrel for USP Compact (14 mm CCW)
* Detonator Custom Slide for USP Compact
* DCI Guns USP Compact Hybrid Sight

I have a firefly rocket valve for my tm desert eagle, the kit also comes with a new piston and lid. The kit actually improved efficiency and recoil.

Ive got a Detonator HK45 build quite similar to yours. I found a cut down RA Tech 150% Hi capa recoil pring game me a nice snappy slide. Did have to sand down the ejector and polish the lower to get it to cyclie smoothly as well as reliably.
So I was initially thinking abut cutting down the Guarder 150% 5.1 Hi Capa spring I have, instead I tried the 4.3 Hi Capa spring which is about half a turn longer than the default spring. The Laylax one I went with in the end seems to be okay, just not sure what strength that spring is, I may work that one out at some point. Plenty of lube on the slide helped a lot, but I will monitor that to see what I need to do in the future.

What would you say are the best first upgrades to do with the usp are?
If you’re looking for a good torch for the usp try the streetlight TLR-3 it’s one on the only lights built for the usp and usp compact you just have to make sure you buy the usp compact mount arm separate

Hey there mate I'm not sure if your still on CZcams but I really need some help..I have aTM usp compact and I'm having trouble finding upgrade parts just like you've used on yours...I'm asking please could you tell me where to buy them?....I'm pretty stuck for any more ideas, that would be great man if you could help me...cheers...Dave.

Leave TM stuff alone! Other than a hammer spring for cold weather or recoil spring for metal slides. your just wasting your money. Most Airsoft 'upgrades' sre bullshit.
