A great video, as always. However I think your info un the real steel is slightly out. I could be wrong but I think you'll find that the P8 was in development for the German military/police before USSOCOM put the tender out for their "assault pistol" and the Mk.23 was a development of of the P8. Strangely, I think the Mk.23 has become more popular on the civilian market than with Special Forces, who generally prefer the USP45 Tactical, which is far more manageable, with the same functionality & tank like build.

It was in its prototype phase when the socom contract came in, and hk just upscaled their design to fit. By the time the mk23 got its second testing unit and once again passed their tests, hk showed the usp they had made for the German military and police but the US military continued with the larger mk23. You're right, though the usp tactical is much nicer!!!!.
I'm conflicted on whether to get TM or Umarex, I want to get myself the Mk.23 with LAM on it but the NBB variant isn't exactly my thing, I enjoy GBB more.
Hi there, the TM NBB is great for the stealth/sniper player and is well supported with aftermarket parts. The umarex mk23 GBB definitely puts a smile on your face. The green gas version is extremely rare.
The TM LAM unit really is just for looks. The light is poor, and the lazer is just a red LED. You can find upgrade kits online that you can upgrade it with. I have not used Evike europ yet, so I can't comment on that, but if it's the one you want, then go for it.
Hi there, This being a Tokyo Marui pistol, I am not aware of any co2 magazines as the shire pressure of co2 will be too much for the polymer slide. If you like the frame size, then try the vfc p8a1, which is the official license version, and the currently issued version to the German police and military in the real steel world.
Hi there, not to sound cleche but there all good, the tm has alot of support and will definitely run all year, kwa make the 45acp variants wich are solid and vfc make the 9mm p8a1 version and vfc are knocking it out of the park the last 2 years on build quality. So my answer is all of them are amazing.

Are you sure the plastic slide is reinforced with metal? Mine is not, and cracked at the common place by extractor. Has marui updated thuis part?
No need to the picatinny adapter, just install the UTL unit (clone is very cheap and works very good for airsoft purpose).

@MiddleAgeGameruk I found one on sale evike-europe, its essentially shipped from Evikes storage in the US, should I get it together with TM's LAM?

Very true, the Marui LAM is actually based on the mk2 prototype the us tested. In the end, the final LAM unit looks way different.

The hk45 is the spiritual sucsessor to the usp 45 and so they are both amazing pistols, so its like picking your favourite child you just can't.
