    30 min review. Doesn't fire the gun for accuracy test. Great job.

    I was in my local airsoft shop today & bought one of these USP compacts. They was shopping off both the compact & full size using black gas, it was cold at 12*c & even for a plastic slide it was quite snappy & held together well. I might look into an upgrade slide & some internals

    I absolutely love your reviews. Very professional but not boring.

    I got my TM USP compact nearly a year ago off of the strength of this review and I still love it. I also use the flat mag base plates and I run it on the pro gas you recommended and I love the recoil. As for a holster I run a Blackhawk serpa which is great. Thanks for the review.

    Thanks for that excellent review. Just wanted to mention that the notch of my slide has clearly visible marks, but they are not impacting on the mechanism to hold back the slide. It's just cosmetic.

    I've yet to buy a airsoft gun, so have no idea what any of this means, but your reviews seem to be of a very good standard!

    @Evan-eh9dd Před 4 lety +1

    I think I saw on your HK45 that the front sight post has a circle where the paint was meant to fill in entirely, so I'm suspicious that yours just didn't get quite enough paint at the factory. The smaller dot up front definitely doesn't seem quite right to me.

    Also, the lesser power on newer marui GBBs might be because they're trying to design the gun with green gas in mind, even though they don't recommend using it with their replicas. I've also noticed they recommend 144a on their newer GBBs, which is a bit more powerful than 134a.

    Glad to see your back with another great review!
    I do have one question for you. I'm planning to sell my TM mk23 to buy a newer marui pistol and I want to know what your favorite is between the USP Compact, the HK45 and the PX4. I really like the H&K pistols but the high bore axis and safety riding against the hand do look annoying.
    Thanks!

    • @ApurtureSci
      @ApurtureSci  Před 9 lety

      Eric Baril Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. In terms of build, finish and how good they look, the H&Ks are slightly better, just because they are newer I think. They look really good, but I still don't find them as comfortable or pointable as the P4. It's a shame the PX4 doesn't get more recognition, it's far better than the TM Glocks that most people go for, and even compared to the newer M&P it feels much more solid. For a collectionI'd get a USP/HK45, for skirmishing PX4.

    • @EB-si4lg
      @EB-si4lg Před 9 lety

      ***** Awesome! Does the PX4 handle Green Gas well or did you upgrade to a metal slide? I'm not a fan of the Safety/decocker being on the slide and not on the frame but I saw you can change it so it is only a decocker.

    • @ApurtureSci
      @ApurtureSci  Před 9 lety

      Eric Baril I have used it on green gas for a few periods, and it seems quite durable, moreso than the Glocks anyway. I still have the plastic slide. I personally much prefer the slide mounted decoker, but if you're worried it'll be too far away, its quite close to hand due to the low bore axis. Everybody I know who has used the PX4 has said how comfortable it was. The same goes for the real one which was very soft shooting in my experience.

    • @EB-si4lg
      @EB-si4lg Před 9 lety

      ***** Alright I'll consider running Green Gas/Propane because it is far more available here in the states than say Abbey Ultra. The low bore axis is definitely a plus over the H&K in my mind. Thanks for the help!

    Lovely review, very in-depth. Just want to say my grip seems like I have smaller hands than yours and my thumb is well clear of the safety. My thumb sits onto my 2nd finger thats curved under the trigger guard. Guess there's a gun for us all size wise.

  • @MasterChiefTheChef
    @MasterChiefTheChef Před 9 lety

    13:45 Yeah, that's what usually happens, I tend to put the safety on a lot of times during games, it's the only negative feature on Hk's!

      +Loudy If I was to buy a real USP, I'd have to get an LEM model with DAO trigger and no safety.

    Great review, really thankful! Which one should I get, the USP, the Px4, the Sig p226 or the Hi-capa 4.3? All Marui

    • @ApurtureSci
      @ApurtureSci  Před 8 lety

      +Sports&Co For me the PX4 is the most comfortable all-rounder, but this H&K is good if you have smaller hands, and the Hi Capa is the most uprgadable.

  • @LancasterAirsoftRussia

    Fantasic review! As usual though :) Does it have 15mm cylinder as latest TM pistols like HK45 and M&P9?

    • @ApurtureSci
      @ApurtureSci  Před 9 lety

      Lancaster AirsoftRussia Thanks! It does indeed, should have mentioned that. It's very large for the size of the pistol and makes it incredibly snappy even on Abbey Ultra. Very satisfying to shoot.

    Really nice review, thanks! Can I ask you, I need pistol for training purposes, but I'm torn between TM USP full size and the USP COMPACT. I really like the size of the COMPACT version, is it accurate in 10m distance? This is gonna be my first airtsoft gun, regarding your experience what you will recommend? Thanks!

    • @ApurtureSci
      @ApurtureSci  Před 4 lety +1

      They are both identical in terms of accuracy at 10m, and are both excellent in that regard. The barrel on the compact isn't short enough to cause any accuracy difference.

    I was wondering if you have had problems with the nozzle return spring?Also would you know where to get parts?

      TheCajun1973 Thanks for watching. I didn't have a single issue in my time owning this gun. Best to look at the Asian airsoft shops for Japanese parts, like uncompany, airsoftglobal etc. For very hard to find parts I use yahoo auctions Japan, there is a seller called shopbebox who has been incredibly useful for rare stuff.

    how would this compare to the KWA? Also what would you estimate the trigger pull to be? Real one is about 5 lbs. It looked much lighter than that in single action.

    Great review Apurture! This is actually my favorite airsoft gun that I own. I have been trying forever to find that very same rail adapter but cannot find it anywhere. I don’t want to buy the gun again just for that especific adapter so will you be willing to sell it to me? Please let me know if you’re interested. Thank you man, and keep doing great reviews!

    hello mate, great review. I'm a complete newbie and i was wondering if you could help. I just bought one of these and as soon as i tried it, it consistently shooting around 5cm lower than where i was aiming at and i'm only about 3 meters away. What's wrong with my gun?

    • @ApurtureSci
      @ApurtureSci  Před 8 lety +3

      +Ronald Tang Thanks! Most airsoft guns will shoot low at those kind of ranges. The sights are higher than the bore of the gun, so up close they will shoot low. As long as the hop is set well, the point of aim is usually accurate between 5-10m. If it's important to you, a gun with adjustable sights may be better.

    • @ApurtureSci
      @ApurtureSci  Před 8 lety

      +TheNintroller It should last a decent amount of time. I would run it until parts start to wear, then you can select some upgrades from the vast selection of parts available.

      Hydra Inarms No, nobody makes metal slides for spring guns. The slide would cost 4 times the price of the pistol.

      Hydra Inarms There aren't many options for a metal slide USP but these plastic Tokyo Marui guns are very good. They very recently bought out a gas blowback full-size USP. Can't help about where to get one though.

      ApurtureSci so I ended up purchasing the umarex HK usp compact blow back.
      Ment to ask you if thier is a difference between the two
      Tokyo marui h&k USP
      And the Umarex h&k USP ??
      Other then the price .
      The umarex h&k USP is a little bit cheaper then the Tokyo Mauri.
      Any advice if appreciate I.

      @ApurtureSci  Před 8 lety +1

      Wow I had no idea it had been a year since I bought this! Still working perfectly, never missed a beat. The frame is getting a little shiny in some areas so a replacement made of better plastics would be welcome, but that's my only complaint.

    • @nickw9815
      @nickw9815 Před 8 lety

    • @ApurtureSci
      @ApurtureSci  Před 8 lety

      +Nick Williams Its still all stock. I've been using Abbey Ultra mostly since its snappy enough without green gas.

    • @nickw9815
      @nickw9815 Před 8 lety

      +ApurtureSci do you think the plastic slide will be able to last on green gas?

    • @ApurtureSci
      @ApurtureSci  Před 8 lety +1

      It depends on climate really, and how much you shoot it. I don't do much shooting and live in the UK where it's usually pretty cold, so green is ok. I reckon a few months of regular shooting in a hot climate and you would start to see wear.
