We just got back from Norway, where we also made the hike up to Pulpit Rock. I have to say that this was *far more difficult* than it appears from watching CZcams videos of others hiking it. The endless stepping on/up/over those large rocks was a real challenge for my feet (even with decent boots on). Plus, there was a large crowd that day, and it seemed like you were always slowing down for someone in front of you. The view at the top was incredible though, and we had a good clear day.

Now that was one hell of a view at the top, reminded me of a view from derwent edge in the Peak District. Some record time that was getting up there, kudos to you. I really want an insta 360 now 🤣🤣 great video yet again 👌

Im going to stavanger in july, can anyone tell me if I should book the pulpit rock hike through the cruise line or through a local company when we dock?
Hi, Our best advice for this particular trip would be to book through your cruise line as the start of the hike is about 1hr away from the port plus they will wait for you if your late. ⛰
Is this Port Adventure self-guided? Like did they just drop you off and tell you to be back at the bus by a certain time? Or did you have to stay with your group from the bus?
Yes, we jumped on a coach and got dropped off at the start point to Pulpit Rock and told to be back for a certain time. Our particular cruise i think we only had about 4hrs there because we had an early departure from Stravenger back to the UK 👍🏻
