Wow, I grew up in Stavanger. Never thought I would be seeing a video from you filmed in this area. Also, it’s always interesting to see how tourists experience our country. This video brought me great joy as I’ve been living in Oslo for the past 6-7 years. Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed Rogaland! Also, I have never seen anyone eat a Norwegian style waffle with a knife and fork, hah! Guess they can be kind of messy.

Stavanger is definately beautiful. But make sure you make it up to northern Norway as well. Lofoten, Røst, Lyngsalpene, Finnmark, Troms...all the northern counties are full of epic nature adventures and general awesomeness like these...and then some :) Unreal to se you here in our country after watching so many videos from other exotic locations. Norway looks so so beautiful. I've only ever been on a weekend trip to Oslo which doesn't really count. The fjords looks spectacular. What an epic trip! Looks kinda chilly though haha

That terrain reminds me of New Zealand around Queenstown. Norway is a heck of a lot closer :) Gig and I were just talking about possibly going there soon, the stand up paddle boarding looked amaaaazing!

Shame about the weather, a heli ride across the the fjord and into the mountains on a clear day is something magical. Nice touch with the drone shots of månafossen though, really cool. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

Kjerag bolten. It's a bit tougher hike, so if the weather is bad you shouldn't. Bring good clothes and footwear. I've seen in disbelief tourists show up in leather shoes and high heels going up to the Pulpit rock.

I grew up in Sandnes/Stavanger. Two cities that have grown to 1 "large" urban area. Its Norways 3rd largest with 225k inhabitants. I lived in Oslo for 10 years but are back in Stavanger now. Its generally the prettiest City in my opinion. Also Sandnes down Town area looks pretty neat now. It was actually voted the ugliest City center in Norway in 1995. Recently it was voted the prettiest.
But I miss Oslo though. Stavanger is a bit to small for me, and Oslo a bit to big (1 mill). I think 500k Would fit me perfect then.

@Silje Therese Støle oh ok. Sorry I am not; I just know that Leise in German means "quiet" and since they are pretty similar I just guessed- probably not wise for me to do though. What is the Norwegian word for "quiet"? I am very fascinated by Norway and would love to live there someday
