Wingman115 would you happen to know the best slugs for the fx impact .30 cal? I’m shooting the NSA 49.5 grain slugs and they’re shooting the best so far at around 900 fps. Didn’t know if there was any other option as far as shooting it at a different speed or a different slug weight a different speed? I’m just looking to get the best long range accuracy and precision out of my gun as possible

Thanks for the excellent information and fantastic video!!!
I really appreciate you guys taking the time to make this video and the other video on pellets and slugs.
I am just getting back into pellet guns after nearly forty years since my first pellet guns and nearly ten years since I started shooting again.
I recently bought four Gamo Swarm Magnum Gen 2's but did not buy any ammunition for them untill I have the information that I think is pertinent to select the proper ammunition for them. I intend on using them specifically for hunting small game up to raccoons, possums, and foxes. I plan on teaching my kids to humanely harvest and part of that includes having the right tools and equipment for the job.
You guys did an excellent job in explaining how much variety there is per caliber.
If you have any brand, grain weight, or head sizes/diameter recommendations for. 22 pellets or slugs for raccoons, possums, and foxes, I am all ears. Any tips on hunting these particular game animals with .22 pellets or slugs, I would also like to suggest it as a video topic if you ever have the time.
Thanks again for all you do.
Stay Safe, Be Well, God Bless.

I purchased the Kervan Airboss K1 25 cal. I would like to shoot both slugs and pellets. In order for me to do this do I need to change to a different liner? Or do I just have to experiment?

I have not polished the barrel yet.

Please correct me if I am wrong. This is a summation.
I own the KERVAN Airboss K-1, 25 caliber. Barrel length is 58 cm. Muzzle velocity. Max. 1100 FPS. 335m/s.
I’m using the JSB exact King Heavy Diablo and JSB slug knockout.
    - If i am target shooting/marksmanship from 50 to 100 yards then standard pellets should be fine?
    - If I am going for long range target shooting/marksmanship, then I should be using slugs? For example, anything over a 100 yard distance you are going to get less of a trajectory curve fall off, thus in turn more accuracy at long distances?
    - If you’re hunting small game at say 50 yards to 75 yards you should use pellets?
    - If you are hunting larger game at say 50 to 100 yards, then use slugs because the impact of the slug will be greater than a pellet with more expansion?

Keeping this in context: Slugs are not intended for Springers or low power PCPs. If you try slugs in either, you may well end up with projectiles stuck in the bore. Slugs tend to perform best driven at very high pressures (In a regulated gun a high regulator set point with a large plenum matched to the power level).
