    It seems worst in London, cause outside London you have many Africans owning the African shops. I was also shocked when i went to Peckham which is a Black area and 80% of thiose store are Indian/Pakistan owned

    London's transport system is definetly on another level, I had the same realization when I moved here from Belgium a couple of years ago. Regarding the homeless people on the street, we have this in Antwerp as well, the only difference is that London is so densely populated that you see more of them. Personally, the only thing I don't like about London is the crime. It can be quite shocking especially if you come from a more quiter place like Belgium (like my neighbour getting stabbed).
    All in all, London is a vibrant, high pased and fun city to live in if you have a decent paying job.

    OMG I can’t believe you came to Brixton, that’s my area I was born and raised in Brixton my parents still live there. Although the Brixton of today is not the Brixton I grew up in. It has very much changed and become very bougie and gentrified. But it’s nice to see you having a little wander and Experiencing some of what Brixton has to offer as in the food and the little shops. Next time you’re in London maybe try Dalston market or Brick Lane market a lot of cultural vibes there too. U2 definitely need to come back for the carnival in August this year it is going to be lit.

    Love this video ❤️ There are various affluent and equally diverse parts in London.
    Yes we work hard but also have benefits/National health service for those who are in need of financial/medical support.
    You guys will need to see various areas of London to see that there are rich areas too . I love that you show the real London ❤️
    In relation to homeless there are various organisations like St mangos who are assisting to help remove rough sleepers … I forgot, there are also organised gangs who intentionally have people begging for money
    God bless x

We do have a drinking culture or should I say the white people have a drinking culture. And yeah there's a lot of homelessness and people with addictions. I'm glad you went to Brixton. I live up the road from there. See you in your next vlog.

    I am a British Born Ghanaian raised in Brixton, so it was noce to see you in here. I actually only visited Ghana for the first time a month (at age 38 🙈long story) but I did not have cultural shock as there are similarities with Brixton and Ghana. Additionally, Brixton was hugely populated with Africans, far more than what you guy’s came to see. I understand Twi and can speak moderately so I had no issues when I visited Ghana. When I return, maybe I can share my story with y’all😀

    Hi Anna and Kevin, you are on my old stomping ground Brixton. That's where I lived for 20 years before I went to live in Ghana. Britain's drinking culture is disgusting. It's a very English thing, where they just drink and drink. Actually its horrid. Yes there are a lot of homeless people living on the streets even in the heart of winter. It was nice to see you in Brixton market even though the whole place has changed now. It's called gentrification or being taken over by the white middle classes. I have lived in Ghana for the last 12 years going back to the UK occasionally to see my boys

And the Jamaican shops selling good food. I can't stand the UK anymore the local governments spoil and dilute everything.

    Yeah they're homeless because most of them are drug addict. However, they receive their benefit entitlement every two weeks. They just wanna be homeless also because they don't want to pay rent 😒. The money they receive with the support of housing benefit is enough for them to live without straggle, however, they prefer to use that money 💰 for alcohol and drugs instead.

      Its not always so black and white. The council do not house single people and if you want to rent privately as they are advised to do, some landlords wont take people on housing benefit or they can't find the two months deposit so they end up on the streets. Not every homeless is a druggie

    • @gladysnorteygn
      @gladysnorteygn Před 2 lety +3

      yes I wanted to comment on that, UK has the best social care system, they're homeless because they want to continue abusing alcohol and drugs, so they ran away from shelter, they still receive their benefits money which is close to £100 a week and they decide to binge on alcohol and drugs, sad
