EPIC 2020 CR125 TWO STROKE BUILD TRANSFORMATION - TIMELAPSE

I picked up this 2002 Honda CR125 a few years ago and finally got around to doing a proper rebuild. This bike had been used and abused and had cracks in the engine case, trashed bearings and more.
I found a few ebay parts, purchased some fresh parts from RockyMountain ATV/MC and topped it off with a Polisport plastic restyle kit. This ultimate budget build bike turned out amazing and I really wished I could have kept it.
Stoked on the final result though.

How about an older 2 smoker ktm or Rm, ktm would probably be a little more expensive(parts). An Rm with some like awsome graphics. If you can find a kx Too would be awesome.lol

This is a Polisport Restyle Kit. A quick google search will give you a list of places you can find them.

Plastics are the Polisport Restyle Kit. Graphics are eBay special, just search CR125 restyle graphics. They should work on years 02-07.

Different model years have changed up styling, engine, etc. I believe the 96-01 are similar and then they revamped the bike in 2002. You'll have to search to see what you can get for your 2001.
2002 introduced the RC valve i believe.

Not too bad. The clutch just needed a little adjustment afterwards.
where did you buy the triple clamp honda stamp?
I didn't buy it. It came off the OEM ones and had to be glued back on.

How did you fit those newer style plastics onto an older bike with different bolt layouts?
This is the Polisport Restyle Kit. They make it specifically for older bikes (in this case the 2002-07) to look like the new style. Bolts right up.

Not sure. They may not make one for that bike.

@M.D. Mudgett yeah, im rebuilding a 2001 cr125 which i know wont look this good when finished, and i will be spending 2-3 times that much. but i have to do the transmission, crank, bottom end bearings while i am at it etc as 3rd gear pops out. still cheaper than a new bike. but definitely not cheap, im sure it will be worth it though, ripping a 125 is so damn fun.
