Tying a simple turkey feather nymph

  • This is a generic nymph pattern utilizing the fibres of a turkey's secondary wing feathers, some dubbing, fine wire and a hook.

    THANK YOU so much for your pattern.I have ton's of these feathers and have only used them for wing casings. Now I have a new fly to tie with them ,so I thank you.

    I like 1 or 2 material flies. I have bags of feathers I pick up from the lake and a bag of turkey feathers,
