    Funny you should mention being able to pick up something from everyone else who ties flys. You turning your vice away from you to protect against nicking your thread on the hook point while dubbing will help me out immeasurably,and I’ve Ben tying for almost 50 years. Great little tip. Thanks.

    Nice tie. I tie what I call a micro bugger, but it's on a #18 dry fly hook. I often use them as droppers in stillwater, behind bigger, more typically sized #8 buggers pr #6 streamers and it's always interesting when I get a hit how often it's the tiny bugger the bigger fish take.

      Ivan Bundy Rainbows, used a lot for Stillwater (lake) fishing in the UK, deadly in the winter. The chenille is usually Chartreuse in colour.
