The coming-of-age story set in the ‘60s and ‘70s was a hit with children and adults alike, as it was relatable for the kids and nostalgic for the parents. You might not have seen many of the show’s stars in projects lately, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t been working steadily since the show went off the air in 1993. For once everybody turned out pretty good, no crazy drugs and alcohol or arrests for other stuff like most child actors. Minus Jason Harvey for the Ambien DUI, which I can understand because if I take it I forget everything I do for a day. Good job guys!
I think the cast seemed to have supported each other a lot. It reminds me of the Brady bunch. Robert was such a decent influence and Florence had the world of time for her on screen "kids". It's clearly not compulsory to become a screwup just because of on screen drama.

This was and still is one of my favorite and memorable TV show.
I bought "Math Doesn't Suck" and "Kiss My Math." Honestly they're really good books for teens who are having a hard time in middle school math. Because Danica shows examples of different types of math problems in ways that teenagers can relate to. Well it's mostly aimed in a way to girls, but I still think it's good.
This show was a staple of my youth. It provided this weird way for my dad and I to relate to one another.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this show, By far my favorite tv show of all time. They had the life I had always wished for. It gave me much comfort to see how things should be closer to in real life I feel like.

Danika blossomed in more ways than one, including her intelligence. To this day she is a knock out in the looks department, and I should say any man would be proud to have her on his arm! I certainly would!

There was a Winnie Cooper in my neighborhood when I was a kid back in the sixties. Her name was Pam and she had the prettiest blonde hair. I can still see her now wrapped up in her solid white rabbit fur coat & hood playing in the snow.

My wife watches Danika on the Halmark Mysteries series. She still looks great and has enjoyable episodes to watch. She excelled in post graduate studies in advanced mathematics and has written a book on the subject. She unique, talented and super smart.

I agree Alex. When you think of how bad TV was in the sixties. You know I will never ever forget the final episode of The wonder years. It was pitch perfect. So incredibly sweet and wonderful. Probably one of the two best final episodes of any series. The other one is Newhart.
Kevin Russell what's crazy is that the episode wasn't even supposed to be the series finale. It got cancelled 😩

What an amazing show it was, I still like the episodes where Kevin's brother transforms into a matured man. Thereby redeeming himself in a way and also showing us how life changes people.
Also happy that unlike other child actors of that time , these guys didn't throw their lifes away on drugs but made something of it .

In the early 90s, the main star of the Wonder Years was Probably wondering how I could bowl 5 strikes in a row. I was bowling in the lane next to him in Woodland Hills.
With little style, I used my underarm pitching arm and threw the ball about one third down the lane before it hit the floor.

It is good to know this about the stars on the show, but what about the other folks that played recurring rolls like all the buddy like companions of the star. and all the other girl friends as well. It seems like we never hear about these folks, from the folks who do these short films.
