I would've liked to see that MultiPi system in a Jaguar case.

This Ramble was especially relevant and useful for the Uzebox. Lee has a mostly finished port of Duck Hunt to the Uzebox so I've told him about the Sinden light gun and I also created a new topic on the Uzebox forum for the SNES Edge enhancer. Mention of the 2 chip vs 1 chip SNES models has a clear parallel or analogy in original Uzebox (which requires the AD725 video conversion chip) and the Uzebox Omega, which only uses a single chip for the whole console and outputs RGB SCART instead.

Really enjoyed the Kickstart vlog you did in the LGR style. Plus we now have evidence that Pillock is a huge Atari fan! 😂😂

The way you describe the ST and Amiga's shared history is like the Batman The Movie Joker and Batman relationship, "I made you, but you made me first!" This is kind of an apt analogy. To clarify, Atari would have harvested the Lorraine prototype for the custom chips if C= had not paid off the Hi-Toro team's credit! Atari bankrolled Amiga Corp. with a loan but wouldn't have released the Amiga as it was designed if Amiga Corp. had defaulted! However, the Atari loan allowed Amiga development to continue! Once they were paid off (not their plan A) Atari then fast tracked the ST to beat the Amiga to market which was classic Jack Tramiel evil empire stuff but in a way the Amiga provided the impetus for the ST's creation! If Amiga Corp. had defaulted on the loan maybe a souped up ST with Amiga chips would have done better in the early days? It is unlikely however this 'Super ST' would have ever been pushed/upgraded with high end models (I know C= were slow with this too) and we may never have seen the Video Toaster or any traction in the US market with no video production niche created! It would however have led to a united front against the Mac and PC but Tramiel would have still struggled to build trust with distributors after his previous shenanigans! He would have needed to build a computer platform not more C64 style, "one model conquers all" type widgets! The Falcon was the eventual 'Super ST' but Atari still preferred to sell the Jaguar than support and prosper a computer ecosystem!
