You're acting like Pantoja didn't miraculously got the nod in a decision he arguably should have lost cause it was super close against a guy with 3 UFC fights
like I keep seeing the argument "erceg threw the 5th" how? sure if pantoja beat him up on the ground, or threatened as sub, or even held a dominant position for more that 10-15 seconds if that sure. but he didnt. even then its hard to make a case that that would outweigh the striking as the criteria kinda indicating the scoring should favour the immediate impact and effectiveness of erects striking, over pantojas unimpactful and ineffective striking and grappling.
