- Merry Christmas everybody!!! Unfortunately we didn't get to finish this Santa's Workshop that had so much potential. But we did our best and we put our best effort on every single bit we managed to complete.

Hi Can I ask you a tip?
I built an ice farm this year...Ice come with in a 8x1 stream at 5 blocks per second to the player afk...all work well but some times player are unable to break all the ice and get pushed down and farm brakes....I tried to make the afk spot instead of 2 tall only one tall, but I have problems to reach the last block because I have to step one block back with the water stream that push me into position and to get space for the sefty stop.
Do you have any other idea on how I can make the afk spot unbrekable?
Interesting. So, if I understand correctly, you are pushing to the player 8 blocks per row of ice at a speed of 5 blocks per second.
As a quick solution I would only push them at 4 blocks per second and divide the 8 blocks into 2 rounds of pushing. It would take 2 seconds (in theory) to push the total of the 8 blocks.
Also, that way it doesn't matter if the player is a block back, because you would still be able to break the 4 blocks. Maybe to hold the player in place use a trapdoor at the top of the block (with an obsidian behind it, so no ice can push it) to get into crawling mode and something like a chain or end rod that would allow the player to move a bit to the front and still break the ice aligning to the left or right of it.

@@GiorgioJGZ it is quite near at the solution I found....I tried all. I tried to push 8x1 blocks with Il Mango 5 block per sec. Sistem with 2 tick delay on repeaters, but after some ice was crushing me on the ground and breaking the farm. I tried to make the afk area tall 1 block, but the reach limit was changing to 4 block instead of 5 that you can mine if you stand. And I was having problems to place the start lever to because I use water to be aligment to hoppers.
I tried with minecarts, but on minecarts yor speed in mining is slow down.
I tried pistons to.....
At the end the solusion I found using the same timing and using iven less blocks was to move in front the afk area, so when the 8x1 line of ice come from side, I istantly brake first 4 blocks ( cause i left 1 additional block of space) and, after and additional 4 redstone tick of delay, the 5 block per second sistem push the remeaning 4 blocks of ice to the player. So I divided into 2 actions what I was doing before in 1 but in the same time spent. So I have less moving blocks and so less risk to miss blocks.
But just in case I added a sign as amovable block so ice can not push me animore....
Now I think to build a sistem to send ice to a blast chamber when I do not use the farm, because removing some pistons of the 5 blocks x sec. Now I can make ice iven go out if I do not mine it, probably I will do by lever 👍
Nice solution! Funnily, my thought for a plan B was a blast chamber for remaining ice, maybe to zero tick them out of the way before the next badge came in and blow them up later on. But your way is perfect, you use less blocks, it doesn't affect the timings, and if your pickaxe breaks, the farm won't stop working. Nicely done!
